Hello everyone… Today, I have a fun Party Animals Birthday Card to share with you all that is very easy and quick to make.

This month is the birthday month for one of my favorite stamping company… Joy Clair turned 4 years old this month! Joy Clair released couple new birthday themed stamp sets and today we are showcasing one of the fun stamp set called, Party Animals.

And here’s my clean-and-simple card using that stamp set:

To create the background, I used sponging technique using Cloud ARTplorations Stencil and post it. I used Distress Ink Pads (Tumbled Glass and Mowed Grass) on a heavyweight cardstock for this background. And for the background mat, I used Darice Green Cardstock. I stacked them and added both of them on an A2 White Card using Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive Glue.

I stamped the sentiment on a white cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad and I trimmed it to fit on the front card. I added the sentiment strip on the card with the same adhesive glue.

I cut out shapes from the Party Animals using the digital cutting files that comes with this stamp set. Yes.. Joy Clair will send you digital cutting files for each stamp set you buy from them to use with your digital cutting machine. How cool is that? Totally save some time to cut them one by one, right?

And then I stamped the crocodile and cake image on a watercolor paper with VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad using my Mini MISTI. I save the negative cut from each shape I cut to use with MISTI as position template. You can go here to see the step how I did this step. Also, I like to stamp the images twice to get crisp result, so MISTI comes handy for this step.

After stamping the images, I colored them with Leisure Arts Watercolor Pencils and small round waterbrush. I dried the watercolor paint on them with craft heater. I added the crocodile and cake on the card with 3D foam tape.

I embellished this card with some large metallic star confetti. And it’s done…
