D2BA | Pop Up Card and Gift For The Best Dad

Hello everyone! Father’s Day is on June 20th this year. Today, I wanna share an idea for the Father’s Day card and gift card holder.

I created this slide pop up card using the Pop Up Feature Die. It is one of my favorites from the newly released products at D2BA store. Visit D2BA Blog for more inspiration and detail for Masculine theme projects and you can play along with this month challenge, too.

For the patterned papers, I used couple of the papers from the All The Buzz Collection Variety Pack. This variety papers pack is super adorable! They are not only can be used for Spring, but also Summer and masculine style projects.

I also used the new Rectangle Framelit Dies to create the tag that I added on the back of the pop up panel as the pull-up tag. I added the gift card on the tag using removable glue dot.

I cut a piece of heavyweight white cardstock using the label die from the new Slim Mini Wavy Layers Die and then I stamped the sentiments from the new Special Family Stamp Set with black ink pad using my Mini MISTI. I added the sentiment label on the front pop up panel with 3D foam tape.

I cut out couple of the bees from one of the pattern paper with scissors and then I added it on the card with couple 3D foam tape.

I love how it turned out. This card will fit in a regular A2 card envelope and not bulky to send out using regular postage.

That’s my card for today and I hope this give you an idea to make a special handmade card and gift for The Father’s Day.  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.

D2BA | Masculine Birthday Slimline Card

Hello hello hello everyone! The month of June is mostly associated with Summer, Father’s Day, Ice Cream, or anything that sounds fun in the sun. Today, I wanna share with you all this masculine birthday slimline card idea.

This June D2BA Challenge theme: Masculine and I thought of making this slimline card with the masculine theme. For me, masculine card is always a challenge to make but I had fun making this one.

This masculine birthday slimline card is pretty simple to make. I used the fun patterned papers from Ice Cream Social Collection Variety Pack for the background and raccoons, along with the Raccoon Party Stamp Set, Raccoon Party Die Set, and Retro Slimline Background Die.

I cut put a grey cardstock with the first layer of the Retro Slimline Background Die and I added it on the card base with the permanent adhesive runner. After that, I cut out a a white cardstock using the second layer of the background die and then I added some 3D foam tape on it and I added it on a piece of that sprinkle pattern paper and trimmed around it with scissors (or you can pre-cut the patterned paper with the dimension of that die). I added the whole panel on the card with permanent adhesive runner.

Next, I cut those 3 raccoons from the patterned paper using the Raccoon Party Die Set. This die set is not only matching die to the stamp set, but also to the pattern papers which is awesome that we can use both ways. After cutting those raccoons, I added them on the card with permanent adhesive runner.

I stamped the sentiment from the Raccoon Party Stamp Set on a white cardstock with black ink pad and I used the label die from Wavy Slimeline Framelit Dies. I did partial die cut for each side to get the dove tail for short label. I added it on the card with permanent adhesive runner.

I hope this birthday slimline card give you an idea to join our D2BA June Challenge. Head over to D2BA Blog to see more inspiration for masculine cards from the design team.

Stencil Challenge | Sending Hugs Mixed Media Card

Hello everyone!!! June is here!!! We officially is in the middle of the year 2021, yes… we are half way through this year. Keep the faith and have hope to live every day that the situation will gets better. Sending paper hugs to you all…

Today, I would like to share this simple Sending Hugs mixed media card with you all…

I made this card using Make Marks 1 ARTplorations Stencil, Make Marks 6 ARTplorstions Stencil, Petals 3 ARTplorstions Stencil, Just Everyday Greetings Clear Stickers, Bit of Washi #2 Clear Stickers, Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

I went with monochromatic colors for masculin card since we are celebrating Father’s Day in June. I did monoprinting technique with white and light blue acrylic paints for the first layer of the background paper, and then the top layer is double-stencil with 2 kind of stencils and Distress Oxides ink pads.

I embellished the card with some of the clear sticker washi tape pattern and the sentiment is also a clear sticker. These clear stickers are fun to use on any projects.

I hope this card sparks you an idea to join our STAMPlorations June Stencil Challenge. You can use any stencils to create any kind of projects to play along. Please make sure to read the rules to be eligible to win the prize.

And here’s my card for this celebration day that I created using the beautiful Magnolia Branch Mega Bundle digital stamp and Botanical Dream digital paper pack.

I love working with digital stamp. When I want to make a batch of cards, I can use the Print-and-Cut feature from Silhouette Studio and cutting it with my Silhouette Cameo machine. But today, I simply just printed the magnolia branch image on a white cardstock using inkjet printer and then I colored it with pencil colors and colorless blender pencil.

After I fussy cut it with scissors, I put it in my spraying box and sprayed it with metallic silver spray for extra shine on the magnolia branch. I dried it with craft heater.

For the background card, I printed one of the pattern from the Botanical Dream digital paper pack on white cardstock in 8.5 x 11 size. Yeah… I printed the full page. It might sound taking so much ink, but I can cut the whole page to make 2-3 cards. I cut it in the size of slimline card and added it on the card with permanent adhesive runner.

I cut the black frame using 2 dies from the D2BA Rectangles Slimline Framelit Dies and I added it on the card with permanent adhesive runner.

Next, I printed the sentiment from the same Magnolia Branch Mega Bundle digital stamp on a white cardstock and then I cut it with one of the D2BA Rectangle Fancy Framelit Dies.

I put both magnolia branch image and sentiment label on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimensional. And then, I added some white acrylic paint splatters on the card.

I hope this card sparks a little fresh idea for you to create today… Thanks for stopping by!
