Hello everyone… September is here! Thought is it not yet officially Fall Season… I just cannot wait to enjoy this season. I will share more Fall themed projects here…

Kicking of this month, here a Fall themed card that I created with stamping and watercoloring:

My card today is inspired by these mood board from Joy Clair September Challenge. This is a monthly challenge with Anything Goes theme. You can play along with any brand of stamps you have in stash, but if you use Joy Clair stamps on your project, you get double entry. I am using the new stamp Bible Journaling set from Joy Clair called Deer Friends and for the acorns for the background, I use the Rustic Christmas Stamp Set.

This is very simple to make. I started stamping the acorns on a piece of white cardstock using VersaFine Clair Acorn Ink Pad. I filled the whole space with them. Then I trimmed it smaller than the A2 card and I added it on the card with dries-clear adhesive glue.

For the vocal point, I stamped the owl and wood stump on a watercolor paper with VersaFine Clair Acorn and I dried it with craft heater tool. I colored it with Leisure Arts Watercolor Pencil. I simply colored just the edge around the images and using waterbrush I pulled the color to fill the image. After the images dried, i just fussy cut them with micro-trip scissors.

On a brown cardstock, I stamped the sentiment with the same ink pad using my Mini MISTI, trimmed it, and then using my trimmer, I scored couple lines to create a deboss frame. I added the on top of the acorn background with adhesive glue.

I added the wood stomp on card with adhesive glue and then the owl on top of it with 3D foam tape for extra dimension. I embellished the card with some natural twine ribbon on top.
