This passage inspired my latest Bible journaling page, created as part of the Creative Worship Stamps June Release Instagram Hop. This release is filled with meaningful sentiments, lighthouses, whimsical designs, printables, and more—perfect for creative faith projects.

For this page, I focused on the theme of God as our safe harbor in life’s storms. I used the following supplies:
• Safe Harbor stamp and die set (new)

• Books of the Bible stamp set
• Under the Sea stencil (new)
• Cloudy Day Edge stencil

To bring everything together, I used VersaMagic ink pads for both stamping and ink blending, creating a soft, layered look that reflects the calm after the storm.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”(Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

The same command, promise and reminder is also for us these days. As we walking into this new year, new season, we need to remind ourselves that “The LORD is with us.” He walks with us. He brings victory in our daily spiritual and physical battle. He is our source of courage.

Be brave.
Be courageous.

Today I have two projects, a Bible journaling page and an encouragement card using this newly released Bible verse, Joshua 1:9 stamp set from Creative Worship Stamps.

On the journaling page background, I also used:

• Snowdrops stamp set
• Captured stamp set
• Herringbone Tile stencil
• Tabs, Tickets & More die set

I used VersaMagic Dew Drop inks for stamping and ink blending with the stencil and round blending brushes. And I used Prismacolor Pencils to color the snowdrops and soil. I added some white splatters to the page with white paint and water.

The second project is an encouragement card.

To create this rainbow-with-textures background, first I used ink-blending technique with Distress Oxide ink pads, then I sprinkled some water with my hand to the background and then I used paper towel to dabbed off the water. I dried the whole panel with a craft heat gun.

Next step, I used the stamping stencil technique (or ghosthing technnique) using Moroccan Quatrefoil Stencil with some water. I sprayed the stencil lightly with water and then I added it to the inked background. I used a piece of paper towel to press the stencil for a couple senconds, then lifted it up, and I dried it again with a craft heat gun.

The last texture I added to the background is with heat embossing techniques using Mindful Magnolias Stamp Set. I added some anti-static powder to the background panel and then I stamped the leaf brances around the panel with VersaMark ink pad and then I added some of the pearl embossing powder and heat set it with a craft heat gun.

I cut out a frame using the Stitched Rectangle Die Set and added some Distress Ink around it.

I plan to make more encouragement cards using this Joshua 1:9 stamp set, it is great to make one layer card, don’t you think?

This verse speaks louder these days, especially when we are in the situation that seems to be uncertain and uncomfortable. But dear friends (and my soul…) our mightly, powerful, living God is here and already there in the future for us.

Meditating on this verses from Psalm 46, I made this Bible journaling page. On my journaling page, I used these stamp sets, die set, and stencil from Creative Worship Stamps:

• Swans of Peace stamp and die set (NEW)
• Texture Tiles 3 stamp set (NEW)
• Cloudy Day Edge stencil 

I did the stamping and ink blending with VersaMagic Dew Drops on the background. For the swans, I stamped them with Memento ink, colored with alcohol markers, and then cut them with the matching die set.

When we inviting Jesus to come aboard on our boat of life, He will surely calm the storm in the dark night (John 6:16-21) for He is the Promised One, The light that shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬).

I journal God’s promised in John 1:5 on my ESV Interleaved Journaling Bible using stamp set and stencils from Creative Worship Stamps :

• Lantern Light Stamp Set
• Star Pattern Stencil
• Lots of Dots Mini Stencil
• Lines and Crosses Mini Stencil
• Grunge Textures Mini Stencil

First, I applied some of the Daniel Smith Transparent Watercolor Ground on the pages, let it dried overnight. It is a new product I wanted to try for Bible journaling projects. I only applied it one layer this time and it was good enough to prevent inks to bleed through the page. I am so glad now I can use any dye-inks and pigment inks on journaling Bible pages.

I stamped the sentiment Bible verse and lantern image on the page with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink, and dried the ink well with a craft heater.

To create the distressed look background, I used ink-blending technique with Distress Oxides inks. And then I used a baby wipe to remove some of the ink through the stencil. I added some water splatters on the page and dabbed it off with paper towel. I dried the whole page with a craft heater.

I added some textures on the background with the stencils, VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and sponge dauber.

I used small blending brush color the inside of the lantern by blending 2 colors of the Distress Oxide inks. Then I colored the lantern with Faber-Castell PITT Brush Pens.

I stamped the bow on a white cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and added the patterns with the Lots of Dots stencil. I dried the ink with a craft heater and fussy cut it with scissors and added it to the lantern with Dries-Clear adhesive glue.

As we were preparing her for the baptism, I was reminded of these verses:

to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

(Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭22‬-‭24‬ ‭ESV‬)‬

Through Christ Jesus, we are given new life, renewed in spirit, mind and created in likeness of God. Our righteousness is in Christ alone. Our new life is controlled by the Holy Spirit. Our mind renewed by the His truth. And our identity is now the children of God.

What a new life we have in Jesus!!!

This month we are showcasing “Through the Seasons” with all our favorite products from Creative Worship Stamps. This week we are featuring the Spring season.

I taped the stencil directly to the ESV Interleaved Bible journaling page using some of Washi tapes. Then I added some of the inks of Versa Magic Dew Drops using blending brushes.

I stamped the sentiment and more texture images on the page with Vera Magic Dew Drops.

For the butterflies, I stamped them on a piece of vellum paper with StazOn ink pad and then colored the back of the image. After that, I fussy cut it with scissors. I added them to the page using Tombow Vellum tape runner.

I cut out a piece of purple cardstock with one of the tab dies and stamped the date on it. I added to the page with double-sided tape.
