This is my third post today… New Month, lots of new challenges and updates to share with you 🙂 You can check on the new Scrapping Everyday Miracles Challenge and a2z Scrapbooking September Challenge posts to play along with their challenges.
Not only those challenges, but Coffee Loving Cardmakers also has a new CASEing DT challenge this week. This is week we are going to CASE one of Amy’s card:
And here’s my CASE card:
I used one of my favorite Coffee stamps from Close To My Heart that is retired. I stamped the cup and colored it with CTMH Watercolor Pencils. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of vellum with Cocoa Pigment Ink Pad from Basics Exclusive Inks™ Mini Pigment Pads Set, added some Ranger™ Clear Super Fine Embossing Powder, and heat set it with Craft Heater. Then I added on the card with Tombow Vellum adhesive and added the cup with 3D foam tape.
And for the inside card, I hand-wrote the sentiment using Tombow Dual Brush Pen 🙂
For the card base, it is easier if you can just die-cut it with circle die, but since I do not have any circle die, I use Martha Stewart circle cutter for my card base. I cut out an A2 card base with it. So, my circle base is abour 4.25″ in diameter. If you do not have any circle cutter like this, you can also simply trace a circle using a bowl or a cup on an A2 card and cut. But make sure trace the circle slightly off the folding edge so you will have a bit of it to hold the front and back card, just link in the picture above 🙂
So… I am inviting you all, my coffee/tea/cocoa loving cardmakers, to play along and link up your CASE cards at Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog. You have until September 14, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
See you there!
THANKS A LATTE for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
