To A Beary Special Mom

Hello hello hello crafty friends… Mother’s Day is right around the corner. Today I would like to share this Mother’s Day card idea for a beary special mom in our lives.

I am inspired by this February challenge at Dare 2B Artzy Blog. The February theme is FLOWER.

I started with creating the stenciled background. I used the Wild Flower Stencil. I taped it directly on the card base and then I added the inks on it using oval blending brush.

I stamped the bear image from the Bear Banner Stamp Set with black pigment ink pad and then dried it with craft heater. I colored the bear with alcohol markers. I stamped the letters MOM and heart banners with dye ink pad and Mini MISTI. And then after that I cut it with the matching Bear Banner Die.

I stamped the bee on a white cardstock with black pigment ink pad and I repeated to get 5 bees. After that, I colored them with black and yellow alcohol markers and then I cut them with the matching die.

I stamped the sentiment on a yellow cardstock and trimmed it into a sentiment banner. I added it on the card with thin 3D foam tape at the top corner.

I added the bear image and the bottom corner card with thin 3D foam tape and then I decorated the cards with those cute little bees using some thin 3D foam tape, too.

I hope this card sparks a l

Artzy Challenge | 1st Birthday Shaker Card

Hello artzy friends… It is time for a new Artzy Challenge!!! This month them is all about kids.

Kids always love birthday parties. For this challenge, I made this 1st birthday shaker card using:

I cut out one of the Merry & Bright pattern papers using 2 sizes of the Rectangle Framelits Die to make the frame background. I added acetate plastic on the window with double sided tape and then I added 3D foam tape around it.

Before I added the frame background to the card, I stamped the sentiment directly on the card with the Totally Black Ink Pad. I added some sequins mix on the card and added the frame background on the card.

To decorate the front of the card, I stamped the horse and presents images on a white cardstock with the Totally Black ink pad, and then I dried the ink completely with craft heater. I colored them with alcohol markers.

After coloring, I cut each image with the matching die from the Rock-a-bye Baby die set. I added each of them on the card with permanent adhesive.

It was fun to make this card and this is one way to stretch the Holiday theme papers for non-Holiday project. I hope you like this card. For more inspiration for the Artzy Challenge, head over to D2BA Blog today.

Support Ukraine Blog Hop

Hello artzy friends… Welcome to our “Support Ukraine Blog Hop”

This blog hop starts at Dare 2B Artzy Blog where you also can see more info about this hope and lisr of participants. Hop along with all of these amazing companies that are part of The Stamping Village and additional contributing companies and artists that are sharing encouragement for Ukraine. A portion of all proceeds from the Dare 2B Artzy sales now through Sunday April 3rd, 2022 will benefit the Ukraine relief efforts.

We have the people of Ukraine in our thoughts and prayers every day. As I made this card, I say a prayer for them, asking God to help them and let His peace guard those people’ hearts and minds in the midsts of chaos.

As inspiration, I used the Ukraine flag colors, blue and yellow, and also the sunflower which is the flower of Ukraine and is the symbol of hope.

The sunflowers are from the Find Your Purpose Stamp Set (by Totally Tracy). I colored them with Altenew Artist Markers and then fussy cut them with scissors.

I added adhesive sheet on the back of a Neenah cardstock and then cut it using Trellis Die for the background. I peeled the adhesive backing and added it on the card.

Next, I cut put a piece of white cardstock using one of the Oval Scalloped Framelit Die and I stamped the sentiment from the Well Wishes Stamp Set with yellow and orange ink pad to get the gradient look.

I added the sentiment label on the card with permanent adhesive and then I added sunflowers on it with thick and thin foam tape for extra dimension.

I hope this card is also encouraging you create a handmade card for someone who needs know that there is someone is thinking of her/him at that moment.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. May you all have a wonderful day.
