Side Step Card: Easter Blessings

Hello everyone… Spring is in the air and Easter is not to far away now. And today I would like to share with an Easter side step card.

ODBD March Weekly Inspiration

I created this card using Our Daily Bread Designs – Side Step Card Die. I love this die. I can make step card as many as I can now 🙂

I embellish my card with the Daffodils Stamp Set, Daffodil Die, Fence Die, Grass Lawn Die, Butterfly & Bug Clear Stamps, Butterfly & Bug Dies, Pierced Rectangles Dies, Circle Scalloped Rectangles Dies, Lacey Ovals Dies, and Ovals Dies. All of them are from Our Daily Bread Designs.

I stamped the Daffodils, Butterflies and Lady Bugs with Memento Black ink and then colored them with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers. And I added some sparkle on them with Spectrum Sparkle Glitter Brush Pen. Then, I die cut each of them with their matching dies.

I love how this card turn out… it look like a garden 🙂 I hope you all can enjoy it, too. The ODBD Design Team share their project inspirations for this week at ODBD Blog using the March New Release Products. You can save 15% – 20% on the bundles. Check them all out at ODBD Store.

THANK YOU so much for visiting me today. Have a fabulous day!

Sending You Hugs

Hi everyone… I am back with my second post today and wanna share with you a clean-and-simple, watercolored card.

I created this card using Joy Clair – Hugs and Smiles stamp set. Using MISTI, I stamped the flower cluster on a watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black. After I stamped it, I turned the paper around and stamped again to create the background.

Then I colored them loosely with Gansai Tambi watercolor paint and Koi Watercolors Travel Box set. And I added some sparkle on them with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen. I cut it smaller, fit to the image to use as middle panel.

For the sentiment, I arranged the phrases from the same stamp set on MISTI, picked them up with the lid and then I stamped them with Versafine Onyx Black ink on a white cardstock.

I added the base purple panel on the card base, then the watercolored panel in the middle. And I added the sentiment banner with 3D foam tape for extra dimension. I finished my card with some white pearl gems.

That’s my simple, watercolored, CAS card for you today! I hope you like it 🙂 Thanks for visiting today, I hope you all have a fabulous day!

Mixed Media Card: It’s Your Birthday

Hello everyone… I am back again… Today I have 2 blog posts for you to check out. The first one is Our Daily Bread Designs Anniversary Blog Hop, and second post is about a mixed media birthday card.

I was inspired by the STAMPlorations March sketch and theme when I created this card using Smile stamp set, Kathryn’s Birthday stamp set, Mixed Media Grunge stamp set, Zen Hearts Stensil.

The background I created with Ken Oliver – Color Bursts Caribbean powder and mixture of Perfect Pearl powder and water spray. And I used the ghosting technique with the stencil on it, too. Then I stamped the bubble wrap and dots pattern on the watercolored panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Then I stamped the leaves branches on the other color burst background paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink, then fussy cut them out. I added some sparkle glitter on them using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Brush Pen. I added them on the card with some do adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment on a white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and cut out the pennant tail. I did the same thing with the black cardstock and slightly overlap them to give a shadow under the white one.

I finished the card with some of the flower wood veneers.
