Kind Heart, Fierce Mind, Brave Spirit

After having a full rainy and stormy week, we finally had a sunny weekend! We took a Jeep ride to Library on Saturday and Sunday evening to Church. Thankful for sunny days šŸ™‚

Today, I’m sharing a card I made using one of the Angie Girl stamps and Brave Spirit Diamond Stripes stamp from Unity Stamp Company.

Brave Spirit

I stamped and heat embossed the Diamoned stripes background on a tag that cut out of Canson watercolor paper.

Then on another watercolor paper, I stamped the Quinn girl image with Ranger Archival Ink and then watercolor it. When the image is dry, I fussy cut it with non-stick micro-tip scissors.

For the sentiment, I cut out a white cardstock strip, stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with the archival ink.

I really love the sentiment from this stamp set.

Brave Spirit

For me, it is a reminder to be kind always, have fierce mind, and always to be brave in spirit in any circumstances. We have choice to make every day and I hope this also can be a reminder for you.

I put them together and adhesive and 3D foam tape. I used a paper doily and Black cardstock for the background and finished it with some clear gems.

I love the girl. What do you think? šŸ™‚ I hope you like the card today. Thank You for visiting and have a fabulous day!

Sisters For Life, Friends Forever

I am so blessed with 2 amazing, fun and beautiful sisters. They are my best friends forever! I wish live close to each other. When I count my blessings, I count them twice šŸ™‚

My card today is dedicated for them. It is a clean and simple card withĀ theĀ Ornate Blossoms stamp set,Ā Ornate Blossoms thin cuts, andĀ Friend In Me stamp set all are from Close To My Heart.

I heat-embossed the flower on White Daisy Cardstock with Ranger Gold PrincessĀ embossing powder and heat set it with Craft Heater. Then I cut it with matching thin cuts with Evolution Advanced.

For the sentiment I heat-embossed it with the same embossing powder directly on the card base (American Craft).Ā Then I added the Ornate Blossom on the card above the sentiment with 3D foam tape.

My card is done and I join the Happy Little Stampers – July Anything Goes with Dies Challenge.

And here is my card using both the theme and sketch. I created the background with some Distress Inks that I added on my craft mat and spray with water, then I dipped my watercolor paper on it. I used Craft heater to dry it. When it was dry completely, I placed the ARTplorations Stencil – Star Align on my card and added some white gesso. I did not cover the whole background with it, just some in the middle. Then I set it aside to dry.

While the gesso was drying, I worked on the sentiment. I cut a strip of Black Cardstock, I stamped the hashtag awesome from Bold Sentiment – Hashtag Authentic stamp set with VersaMark ink pad and added some Super Fine Embossing Powder on it. I heat set it with Craft Heater. Then I cut out a strip of White Daisy Cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I checked the background card but it was still a bit wet so I dried it with my craft heater before I added the sentiment strips on it. This craft heater is a handy tool for sure šŸ˜€ Once the stenciled background dried completely, I added the black embossed sentiment first with adhesive runner and then the white one with 3D foam tape. I finished the card with Triangle Durable studs.

I hopeĀ you will play along withĀ STAMPlorations JulyĀ Theme and Sketch Challenge andĀ I am looking forward to see your projects! THANK YOU for visiting and have a fabulous blessed day!

CAS Card with You Color My World Printable Stamp Set

Using digital stamp set is a quick way of creating handmade card, also there are lots of options to create with printable stamp sets. Today,Ā I am sharing a CAS card with a printable digital stamp set.

This is my first project using the Cutting Cafe Printable Stamp Set: You Color My World. This stamp set features 41 images: 25 sentiments and 16 images.

The Cutting Cafe - You Color My World

I printed the background image that comes in the set and cut it out, then added on my card base.

Then I printed out the sentiment and cut them out in paper strips. Then I added them on the card with 3D foam tape. I also cut out the heart and tucked it under one of the sentiment with permanent adhesive runner.

The Cutting Cafe - You Color My World

I finished the card with some clear gems from Hampton Art.Ā Then I decided to added some lines on the sentiment strips with Uniball Signo Black Gel Pen.
