Dare 2B Artzy | Hello Autumn Leaves

Hello hello hello… Happy Monday! September is here already, can’t you believe it? It means that Fall is coming near here and I am looking forward to see the green leaves turning into gorgeous colors. And my Hello Fall Leaves card today is inspired by this lovely season.

I am sharing full detail at Dare 2B Artzy Blog today. On my card today, I used the beautiful Autumn Leaves Paper, Give Thanks Stamp Set, Fall Leaves Die, and the Hello Word Die. I got them a month ago and finally got to use them this season.

I stamped those using VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad using MISTI and then I colored them using Viviva Watercolor and water brush.

Viviva Watercolor comes in a set 16 gorgeous vibrant watercolor sheets in this book. I love how small and compact this watercolor sheet book is, just perfect size for coloring at home and traveling. It just fits in my purse with the waterbrush. I will have more projects showing these gorgeous watercolor sheets in the future.

The Fall colors are my favorite for the next several months for sure.

Thank you so much for stopping by our blog today. Have a wonderful day!

Clear Scraps | How To Use Embossed Acrylic Sheet On Cards

Hello hello hello! We are at the end of August! I cannot wait for Fall Season to be here soon… Today, I would like to share with you couple technique how you can use embossed acrylic sheet on cards.

On my two cards, I used the Clear Scraps Acrylic Sheet. These are amazing and they come in 12 x 12 size which are perfect for all kind of projects that you can think of. You can cut them, emboss them, stamp on them, shape them, and more! And nn my cards today, I use the embossing technique.

I am sharing more detail about these cards at Clear Scraps blog today.

On my first card, I used this Clear Scraps YouTube Video Tutorial to create the embossed acrylic sheet base. And then, I added some alcohol inks on the embossed acrylic sheet. I also use alcohol ink blending solution and straw to move the ink around the surface.

While the alcohol inks mostly dry and the surface was a little bit tacky, I added some black and gold foil sheets on it.

I cut out a piece of white cardstock using Hello Word Die from A Jillian Vance Design, and then I added it on top of the acrylic background with the same adhesive glue.

I made a shaker card for the second. The technique I used is called embossing and frost technique. I followed the steps shown by Susan Frase in the video tutorial. I don’t have the electric sanding machine like hers, but I used a simple craft sanding block on my card.

For the frame, I cut out 2 piece of white cardstock using the scrallop rectangle dies from Craftin Desert Divas (store closed) and I added them on the embossed acrylic sheet with ScorPal double sided tape.

Then, I cut out a piece of black cardstock using the word dies from A Jillian Vance Design. And I added them on the card using permanent dries-clear adhesive glue.

I hope these two cards give you more ideas how to create with Clear Scraps Acrylic Sheet. These techniques are fun to try!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Stay safe… Keep crafting… And have wonderful day!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Thursday Coffee Break | Sending A Cozy Hello

Hello hello hello coffee loving friends! Happy Thursday. I hope you all have a wonderful week so far. Here’s a cozy hello card for you…

Today, let’s take a little coffee break with me at Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog. I am sharing this coffee cozy hello card there that I created using amazing goodies from some Coffee Loving Super Sponsors!!

For the patterned paper on the background, I printed one of the patterns from the fabulous Coffee Lovers Digital Paper Pack from Graciellie Design. After that, I trimmed it into 4.25′ x 4.25″

I stained one coffee filter using Over Coffee Ink Pad from Catherine Pooler. I dabbed some of the ink on a craft mat and sprayed it with water, then I dibbed the coffee filter in it. After that, I dried it with craft heater. I cut the coffee filter into half, and then pleated them as I glued them on the bottom of the card.

Then, I added the patterned paper on top of the card with permanent adhesive runner.

On another white cardstock, I printed all the sentiments from the Coffee & Love Digital Stamp Set from Graciellie Design. Then, I cut out one of them using the Double Stitched Rectangles Dies from Divinity Designs. I modified the cutting a little bit to fit the sentiment that is not quite a square. I added the sentiment on the card using 3D foam tape for extra dimension.

And then, I embellished the card with some of the sequins from the Mocha Swirl ShakerBlends from STAMPlorations. I used dries-clear permanent adhesive glue to add the the sequins on the card.

I played along with Bev’s DTGD2020 Challenge! This is my first year playing along with this Dare To Get Dirty. To be able to join, you need to be a member of the Fan Club and to find more about this amazing club, visit this link for more details!

I hope this card sparks an idea for you to create! Thanks a latte for stopping by today and I hope you all have a fabulous, caffeinated day!

Dare 2B Artzy | Sending Sunshine and Rainbows

Hello everyone… Today, I would like to share a set of cards that you can make to some sunshine and rainbows to others.

My daughters are going back to school in a week from today. And I know that the teachers and all school staffs have been working really hard to come up with safe plan. So I made these cards to send some sunshine and rainbow to them.

I am sharing this project at Dare 2B Artzy blog. These are one layers, CAS cards that they are easily to be mass-produced. And today, I used the Sunshine and Rainbows Stamp Set. It is packed with great images to build rainbows and encouraging sentiments, too.

I stamped the rainbows directly on the A2 whir cards with rainbow colors Memento DewDrop ink pads using the MISTI stamping tool. This was fun and quick!

And look at the rainbows….

I added three clear irridescent sequins from my stash on each card using dries-clear permanent adhesive glue just for a little bit bling on these cards.

My hope these cards will encourage them as they start the new school year.

Before you go… Check out our monthly challenge. This month theme is Anything Goes. And I hope this project give an idea, too.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you all have a fabulous week!

Blast Birthday Mixed Media Card

Hello hello hello… Thank Goodness It Is Friday! I hope you all are doing well… Today, I would love to share this blast birthday mixed media card.

I am playing with color blending, embossing and paint splatters.

I had fun creating the background usingVersaFine Clair Ink Pads: Blue Belle, Purple Delight, Tulip Red, Summertime, Green Oasis, and Nocturne. I picked the ink up with make up sponge, and started sponging it on a Neenah solar white cardstock. I blended the colors as I go.

I dried the galaxy background with craft heater when I was done adding those inks. Since these are super juicy pigment inks, I dried it longer to make sure no more wet ink for the next step.

I treated the background panel with anti-static powder tool for heat embossing. I stamped the stars and dots images randomly on the galaxy background panel from Out Of This World stamp set (Joy Clair) with VersaMagic Cloud White using MISTI. I stamped them couple times to get bolder look. And while the ink still wet, I sprinkled them with Mboss Embossing Powder Sparkle, and then heat it up with craft heater.

After that, I added more whita splatters on the galaxy background panel using white acrylic paint, little bit of water and fan brush. I set the background panel aside to dry.

Next step, I stamp the rocket ship, astronout, and sentiment using MISTI with VersaFine Clair Nocturne on a piece of Neenah solar white cardstock. I dried them with craft heater.

On the craft mat, I dabbed some of the the Memento DewDrop Cantaloup, Bahama Blue, Lady Bug and London Fog. Using wet small round brush, I colored the images. YUP! I did watercoloring with Memento DewDrop. It was fun!!!

After watercoloring, I dried them all and then I fussy cut the rocketship and astronout with scissors.

I trimmed the finished galaxy background panel into 4″ x 5.25″ and I added it on an 4.25″ x 5.5″ white card using TapeRunner adhesive. Next, I trimmed the sentiment into a rectangle and added it on the card with 3D foam. Then, I added the rest images with 3D foam, too.

I did have much fun creating this blast birthday mixed media card. I hope this bring a smile on your face, too.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you all stay safe and healthy!
