Thursday Coffee Break | Frappuccino Shaker Card

Hello hello hello everyone… It’s time for Thursday Coffee break and I am here today with a Frappuccino Valentine’s shaker card. It is fun to make for sure.

On my card I use the digital stamp sets and digital paper pack from Super Sponsor Graciellie Design. The die I used for the background is from Super Sponsor Craftin Desert Divas and the die I used to cut the sentiment is from Super Sponsor Divinity Designs (formerly Our Daily Bread Designs). And the adhesive runner I used is from Super Sponsor Scrapbook Adhesive.

I used my Arteza Real Brush Pens and waterbrush for watercoloring on the frappuccino cup. I added some glitter on it with spectrum noir glitter brush.

Hey Love Blog Hop And Linky Party | Java Great Day and I Love You

Hello hello hello friends… Today is still cold winter season but I have a Love/Spring card to share with you… hope this card can sweeten your day.

And today… I am joining the Hey, Love Blog Hop and Linky Party with STAMPlorations Girls. This is a blog hop where you can see lots of Love/Spring themed projects from the girls, and also you are invited to join the Linky Party where you can link up your Love/Spring themed projects and to win lots of prizes!!! More details at the bottom…

On my card today, I am using one of these new STAMPlorations Love/Spring Free Digital Stamps. You can download them here and make projects with them for the Linky Party for sure.

I printed my image on a Canson Mixed Media paper with inkjet printer. I dried the image with craft heater before I colored it just to make sure the ink dried well and would not smear.

I colored the images with Arteza Real Brush Pens and waterbrush to blend the colors. I like using waterbrush for better controlling the amount of water. Also, have paper towel close be is always great.

After coloring, I dried the whole image with craft heater and then I trimmed it around its frame. I added some thin layer of white gesso on it to muted the text printed on the background and give light white shadow around the colored image.

For the background, I used double stacked stenciling technique using the Dots All Over ARTplorations Stencil and Hearts All Over ARTplorations Stencil.

First, I added the It’s A Girl Catherine Pooler Ink directly on the card with oval brush using the Hearts All Over ARTplorations Stencil, and removed the stencil . And then I put the Dots All Over ARTplorations Stencil on the card and I added the same ink on top of on it, then removed the stencil. And there’s the double stacked stencil technique. I learned that from Dina, my friend, at Splitcoaststampers.

I added the colored digital stamp in the middle of the card with E-Z Runner Grand adhesive.

I cut out a piece of white cardstock using the Java Great Day Phrase Die, and then I glued it on a light grey banner cardstock. I added it on the card with same adhesive.

I stamped the two sentiment words from the Pocket Blooms Stamp Set on pink cardstock with Midnight Catherine Pooler Ink Pad, and then I trimmed them in to words strips. I added them on the card with 3D foam tape.

A Watercolored Card and A Mixed Media Tag

Hello hello hello crafting friends… Today, I have a card and a tag to share with you all.

Sometimes, I need extra boost to my crafting mojo and joining some challenges help me to get that boost. If you like me, here are couple of challenges that you might wanna try and play along.

My first project is a card that I created inspired by the January CUTplorations Challenge from STAMPlorations where I got my inspiration from the colors and fashion model on their challenge image.

On my card, I use the CityGirl Stamp Set that I stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad on a mixed media paper and colored it with Catherine Pooler Ink Pads and waterbrush. I dried the watercolor paint on it with craft heater and then I fussy cut it.

For the background, I use the Hearts All Over ARTplorations Stencil and using make oval brush to add the Catherine Pooler Inks on it. After that, I sprinkled some water and dabbed it off with paper towel for distress look.

And then randomly I stamped on of the image from the Mixed Media Grunge Stamp Set with Twilight Catherine Pooler Ink Pad on it. I trimmed the background panel into 4” x 5 1/4” and added it on a white card with permanent adhesive.

I added the girl on the card with 3D foam tape. For the sentiment, I cut a black cardstock using the Just Becuase Phrase Die and then I added it on the card with permanent adhesive glue.

I embellishe the card with some sequins from my stash

And the second project is a mixed media tag that I created inspired by the January Mixed Media Challenge.

I cut out a piece of 140 lbs watercolor paper using one the large size of the Luggage Tags Nesting Dies. And then I started building up the background using the Evolution ARTplorations Stencil and added thin layer of grey acrylic paint using make up sponge.

Next, I sprayed randomly and lightly light blue Marabu Art Spray and then sprinkled some of the lime green and teal Marabu Art Spray paints on it with fan brush.

I added thin layer of clear gesso on the tag cover the whole using my finger, and then dried it with craft heater. I added some of the Melon Metallic Gelato around the tag edge and blended it in with some water and finger.

I added some glitter texture paste on the tag with Rag Rug ARTplorations Stencil and dried it with craft heater.

I cut out couple of the Bloomdala Bliss Festive flowers with peach cardstock and teal metallic cardstock. I added the peach flower on the tag with gel medium and then added the metallic teal flower on top of it with permanent adhesive glue. I just added the glue in the middle of the flower and let the petals pop up loosely.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Sweet Spring Wishes Stamp Set on a white cardstock, trimmed it into word blocks, and then I added it on top of the flower with 3D foam tape for extra dimension.

Final step, randomly I stamped the script from the Mixed Media Elements Stamp Set with Twilight Catherine Pooler Ink Pad. I dried it with craft heater.

I hope these 2 projects today will give you some inspirations to create something. THANK YOU so much for stopping by my blog today!

Fun challenges I play along:

Joy Clair New Release Day 3 | Rainbow Birthday Shaker Card

Hello hello hello everyone… Today I would like to share a rainbow birthday shaker card with you all.

On this birthday shaker card, I used the Lucky Charm Stamp Set, which is one of the Joy Clair new released stamp sets. This stamp set is great for upcoming Spring or celebrating St. Patrick’s Day themed projects.

I stamped the clover leaf images directly on a white card with VersaFine Clair Ink Pads (Verdant and Green Oasis).

I stamped the rainbow and cloud image on a heavyweight white cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocture, dried it with craft heater, and then I colored it with Derwent Colored Pencils and waterbrush.

I cut the cardstock with 2 sizes of the Divinity Designs – Double Stitched Rectangled Dies. I got the middle part that have the colored rainbow could image and the other piece is the frame for the shaker card that I added a piece of acetate plastic on it with double sided tape. I like to use recycle plastics on my shaker card because they are sturdy and thick and also it is a great way of using them instead of throwing them away.

I added the middle part right on top of the card with Dries Clear adhesive glue. Next, I sprinkled some of the jumbo glitter in the middle of the card, and then I added the shaker window frame on the card with 3D foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink pad, trimmed it into sentiment banner, and then added it on top of the frame with Dries Clear adhesive glue. I drew some faux stitches on it using Sakura Micron Pen for extra fun detail.

Bloomdala Bliss | Cards, Mini Instagram Hop and Giveaway

Hello hello hello…everyone! Today is not my usual posting day but I would like to share a fun hop with you all.

STAMPlorations release a brand new dies today! I have couple of cards to share with you that I created using the new Bloomdala Bliss – Festive Die Set. Both of my cards are clean-and-simple style showcasing these beautiful bloom dies.

On the first CAS and mixed media card, I cut 2 blooms out of teal metallic cardstock, stacked them together with adhesive glue. I added a piece of vellum paper on the back of the bottom of them and trimmed it.

I used Plaid Maker ARTplorations Stencil to create the plaid background. I use make up brush to add the Fossilized Amber Oxide Distress Ink on the card.

For the tag, I sprayed some purple Marabu Art Spray on a watercolor paper and dried it with craft heater. Next, I added some of the Imagine Crafts Shimmer Creative Medium on it with finger and then dried it again with craft heater. I cut the tag with one of the Stitched Tags Nesting Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from Smile Stamp Set with Flirty Fuchsia Catherine Pooler Ink Pad.

This second CAS card. I cut out a piece of plastic acetate using the Bloomdala Bliss – Festive Die Set so I got 3 acetate blooms and the negative turn in to a stencil.

On a piece of mixed media paper, I added the Tiara and Tiki Torch Catherine Pooler Ink Pads using the die cut stencil and make up brush to create the background of the bloom. Then I cut the paper with one of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. I also cut out a piece of the pink salmon cardstock with the larger die. I added both of them on the card.

I added the bloom die cut on top of the stenciled bloom with adhesive glue, and then I stamped the sentiment from Kathryn’s Big Wishes Stamp Set using Midnight Catherine Pooler Ink Pad.

Join us today at STAMPlorations Mini Instagram Hop to see more inspirations using these new Bloomdala Bliss Die Sets. Here the hop list:
