STAMPlorations December Challenges Reminder

Hello everyone… We are half way through December!!! I hope you all ready for the festivities and celebrations of this jolly seasons.

Today, I have couple of cards to share with you to give little inspirations for the challenges that you can play along over STAMPlorations Blog.

For the December CUTplorations Challenge, I made these 2 cards using the Doodle Christmas Bells Cover Plate Die for the backgrounds and the sentiment is from the Homespun Christmas Stamp Set.

And for the December Mixed Media Challenge, I made this card using the Christmas Tree 1 ARTplorations Stencil on the background with some spray paints and Iridescent Creative Medium. I cut out the background with the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

For the tags, I cut out the white and red cardstock using the Tags #1 Nesting Dies. I stamped the sentiment from Peace Love Joy Stamp Set (retired). I stacked them together and tied up the twine on top.

You have two weeks more to play and link up your projects. I’m sure you have some gorgeous last-minute Christmas projects to share with us!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a wonderful day!

Project Thursday ~ An Anniversary Card

Hello everyone… Today is the Project Thursday time… I have an anniversary card to share with you. And I tried to go with simple, but still have some layers on it.

I am sharing this Project Thursday card over Precious Remembrance Blog today.

I created the background using the faux stitch rectangle, one of the frames from the Love Coupon Stamp Set and I stamped it directly on the white card with VersaFine Clair – Nocturne Ink Pad. I layered one to another in different angle. Then I stamped the sentiments from both Everyday Stamp Set and Love Coupon Stamp Set with the same black ink pad. Next, I stamped the arrows from Love Coupon Stamp Set.

For the hearts, I stamped the heart background stamp from the Everyday Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair – Charming Pink Ink Pad on a white cardstock, and then I cut them with Hearts Dies Set. And then using sponge, I added more light pink ink on it to create the shadow look on it. I added both heart die cuts on the card with thin 3D foam tape and thick 3D foam tape to give them extra dimension.

I think this card is not too girl to give to a man, right? I hope you like this Project Thursday card today. Thank you so very much for stopping by!

National Hot Cocoa Day

HAPPY NATIONAL HOT COCOA DAY EVERYONE!!! We are celebrating this fun day with a collaboration blog hop.

We’re collaborating with Super Sponsor The Stamps of Life! This blog hop starts at The Stamps of Life blog!

And for this blog hop… I made 2 projects to share with you that I created using the hotchocolate2stamp set and Hot Chocolate Dies.

My first project is a hot cocoa hello card. I cut out the patterned paper with the mug die from the Hot Chocolate Dies. Then, I also cut the foam out of watercolor paper, colored it with Arteza Real Brush Pen and watercolor brush, then I added the glitter on it with glue adhesive.

I added the snowflake patterned paper on the card, and added some metallic silver watercolor paint on it and dried it. Then I cut out the frame with Double Stitched Rectangles Dies and added it on the card with permanent glue on top of the card.

I added the mug and foam on the card with 3D foam tape. I cut out the sentiment strip with Double Stitched Banner Dies, and I stamped the sentiment from the hotchocolate2stamp set with VersaFine Clair Pinecone ink pad.

My second project is the hot cocoa mug tag. I used the same stamp set and die set. I did the stamping, watercoloring, and die cutting the mug and spoon. I stamped the marshmallow on white cardstock and fussy cut them, I put them in a clear bag and tied it up with twine ribbon.

Here’s the full list of the blog hop where you can see lots of inspirations from both Stamp of Life team and Coffee Loving Cardmakers team. Coffee Lovers and Kat Scrappiness Charity Blog Hop

Hello every one… Today, I have a special encouragement coffee card to share with you all.

On my clean-and-simple card, I use the Coffee Talks Clear Stamps Set from Joy Clair Coffee Themed  Collection.

I stamped the coffee cup on a piece of watercolor paper with VersaFine Clair Pinecone Ink Pad, sprinkled with some of the clear embossing powder, and heat it up. Then, I stamped the sentiment in the middle of the cup with VersaMark Ink Pad, sprinkled with some of the clear embossing powder, and heat it up. I colored the cup with Koi Watercolor Paint. Then embossed image, resisted the paint.

I trimmed the patterned paper into paper strip and added it on top of the card with permanent adhesive glue. Then, I trimmed the watercolored paper and tore some of the paper for extra distress and grundy look. I added it on the card with permanent adhesive glue.

I embellished the card with some nature twine ribbon.

I am participating at Kat Scrappiness Charity Blog Hop to benefit for the Coffee Oasis, a coffee shop/organization located in Washington State that provides help for our youth including programs for drug abuse, homelessness, violence and poverty. You can read more about their programs here:  https://thecoffeeoasis.com/youth-programs/.

Joy Clair is one of the Mega Sponsors for this blog hop and sale benefit to this organization. They are giving away a $25 Gift Certificate for this blog hop.

I am new to this organization but after I read their missions and drive them to do this reach out programs, I am thankful for each of these people who are there to help the young people in need. If you feel to help this organization to continue their works, please visit them and you can also donate directly to Coffee Oasis here: http://kskat.com/donate.  Even if you can only donate $1 or $5, or more… any amount matters. Every little bit will help a kid in need.

I hope you all have a wonderful day and have time to hop along with us for this benefit and also for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop that is hosted by the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog this week!
