Mini Slimline Card | New Adventure Is Coming

Happy New Year all!!!! It is the new year, new adventure is coming…so hang on tight, this year will be full of new hope, new memories, and new surprises!!!

And it is still Winter, my card today, I was inspired by the January Artzy Challenge – Winter Fun. I made my slimline Winter fun card using:

I created that watercolor wash background using dye ink pads and water. I smooshed the ink on the craft mat, sprayed with some water, and then I smooshed the watercolor paper on it. I did it couple times to get the watercolored wash texture on it. I dried the ink in between adding colors. I cut this watercolor background with the scallop die from Slim Mini Snowflake Die and I added it to the mini slimline card base with permanent adhesive runner.

I cut a piece of white cardstock with the snowflake background die and then I added it to the card with permanent dries-clear adhesive glue. I put couple large acrylic stamping blocks on it to hold it down until the glue dried.

I stamped the toboggan image on a white cardstock with Artzy Totally Black Ink Pad and then I colored it with alcohol markers. After that, I cut it with the the matching die.

I stamped the sentiment on another white cardstock with the Artzy Totally Black Ink Pad and then I cut it with the banner die from the Wavy Slimline Framelit Dies.

I added both the sentiment and toboggan on the card with 3D foam tape. I thought there was something missing, so I cut a light blue cardstock using the swirl die from the Toboggan Fun Die set and added it at the back of the toboggan.

That’s my Winter Fun card today. I hope you all like it.. Thanks for the stopping by my blog today, have wonderful day!

Merry Christmas Shaker Card

Hello… It is the second week of Advent and I am still working on sending out some Christmas cards. Today, I would like to share this Merry Christmas shaker card with you all.

On my shaker card today, I used these digital stamps from Gracillie Design:
• Winter Rose Poinsettia
• Gingham Background

I printed the poinsettia flower basket image, sentiment, and the gingham background on a white cardstock with inkjet printer.

I colored the image with Altenew Artist Markers. And then, I heat-embossed the flower and sentiment with WOW! Embossing Clear powder and VersaMark ink pad.

I used Dare 2B Artzy Oval Scalloped Framelit Dies and Rectangle Framelit Dies to cute the gingham background mat and shaker window. I added a piece of acetate plastic on it.

I added mixed sequins, jumbo sequins, and fine sequins on the card and then added the gingham mat on it with 3D foam tape.

Hope you all like this card today. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a wonderful season!

D2BA December Challenge | CAS Christmas Ornament Card

Hello everyone… It is the first Sunday of the month and that means it’s time for a new challenge at Dare 2B Artzy Blog! This month’s theme is Clean and Simple. Just the perfect theme for this Holiday rush in making handmade cards. I always need more cards at the last minute for sure… LOL!!!

On my CAS Christmas ornament cards today I used:

Merry & Bright Collection Variety Paper Pack
Deck The Hall Stamp Set
Deck The Hall Dies
Joy To The World Dies
Curve Slimline Border Dies

These CAS Christmas ornament cards are very easy and quick to make. I cut out the ornaments from the pattern papers with the matching dies. And then I cut out also some of the snowflakes with the matching dies. For the other snowflakes on the card below, I stamped them first and then cut wit the matching die.

And for the top border, I used snowflake pattern paper and cut it with one of the curve slimline border dies.

I added all the pieces to the card with permanent adhesive glue. And then I stamped the sentiment on the card with an ink pad using the Mini Misti stamping tool. I used the mini snowflakes to embellish the card.

That’s it. Pretty simple and quick to make. I hope this sparks an idea for you to make projects to spread the joy and cheers of the Holidays season.

Now it’s your turn… Make CAS card projects and shared them with us at Artzy December Challenge for a chance to win a prize.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a fabulous day!
