2022 Fall-Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop | Comfort and Joy Red Cup Mixed Media Card

Hello everyone… I hope you all have been having fun blog hopping and playing along with the 2022 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Today, I am sharing this Comfort and Joy Red Cup Mixed Media Card at Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog. As you all can see…the spirit of Holidays is in me now… LOL… Also, happens today is Starbucks Red Cup Day.

I made this red cup mixed media card using Super Sponsors:

I used some goodies from Super Sponsor STAMPlorations Paper Goods Grab Bag. The fun of this grab bag is that you never know what you’ll get but I can guarantee that this Paper Goods Grab Bag will surprise you will fun things to use on your projects.

I used Super Sponsor Catherine Pooler Designs Ink Pads on the background mat to create the watercolor background. I cut the watercolored paper with STAMPlorations – Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. After that, I taped the Holly leaves ARTplorations stencil on the watercolored mat with the Therm-o-Web Purple Tape, added some embossing paste, and then I sprinkled with some glitter embossing powder and heated it up with craft heater.

I needed some patterns for the background. I stamped this Catherine Pooler Designs – Candy Cane Background Stamp directly on my front card with the Rockin’ Red Catherine Pooler Ink Pad with Mini MISTI. And look at that background!! LOVE IT!

I added the holly embossed background mat, coffee cup, and the sentiment on the card with E-Z Runner Grand from the Super Sponsor Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I embellished the card with clear gems.

That’s my card today… I hope it brings you joy… Thanks for stopping by today!

CAS Card | You Melt My Heart

Hello artzy friends!!! It surely feel like Winter is here early! This week has been freezing… and I am so thankful for hot beverages that can warm me from the inside. This CAS card today is inspired by one of the hot beverages: hot cocoa!

I am in love this cocoa guy! I made this hot cocoa CAS card using:

I stamped the cocoa image and sentiment on a white cardstock Totally Black Artzy Ink Pad using Mini MISTI stamping tool. And then I colored it with Artist Alcohol Markers. I cut it with one of the Rectangle Framelits Dies.

I picked the knit pattern paper from the Holiday Magic Variety Paper Pack and cut it with the largest size of the Rectangle Framelits Dies.

I added background paper and the cocoa panel to the card base with permanent adhesive runner.

I cut some hearts out of red cardtock with the heart die that comes in the Crazy 4 Cocoa Die Set. I stacked 2 hearts together with dries-clear adhesive glue. I added some glitter to the hearts with Red Glitter Brush. And then I added them to the card with 3D foam tape as embellishments.

That’s my Cocoa card for today. I link up this card at the November Artzy Challenge! And… Have you checked the 2022 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop? Dahlias For Fall Digital Stamp Set

You can find more of her coffee/cocoa/tea digital collection here and you’ll gonna love them! With digital stamps and papers, there many ways you can use on your projects.

I printed the background paper on a white cardstock with inkjet printer, I trimmed it into 4.25″ x 5.5″, and I added it to the card base the E-Z Runner Grand from Super Sponsor Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

I ripped a piece of white cardstock to make the border and I wrapped some of the burlap twine ribbon on it. I added it to the card with double-sided tape.

I opened the cup with sleeve digital image and dahlia digital stamp, I resized and arranged them as one image. I picked one of the sentiments from the Caffeinated Background Mini Digital Stamp Set and resized it. I printed them all together on a white cardstock with inkjet printer.

Before coloring the cup, I dried the ink with a craft heater. I colored it with Altenew Artist Makers and then I fussy cut it with scissors. I also fussy cut the sentiment. I added both cup and sentiment to the card with 3D foam tape.

I embellished the card with some brown sequins that I have in my stash. I added the sequins to the card with dries-clear adhesive glue.

2022 Fall-Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop | Poinsettia Red Cup Of Cheer

The 2022 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and Link-Up Party is LIVE now!!! There are TONS of caffeinated projects and you can link up your project for chances to win prizes from our amazing Super Sponsors!!!

For this Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Hop, I was inspired by the Red Cup season when I made this card using the Super Sponsor Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps.

I started with creating the background using the Diamond Tile Stensil. I taped the stencil on watercolor paper and put it inside my mixed media spray box. Then, I sprayed the Distress Oxide spray paints (Set 3). I removed the stencil and dried the paper with a craft heater.

I added some splatters on it using white acrylic paint and gold metallic watercolor paint. I dried the panel again with a craft heater and then I trimmed it into 4.25 inches x 5.5 inches. I added it to the card base with Scrapbookadhesive by 3L E-Z Runner Grand.

To create the poinsettia red cup, I used:

I stamped the cup on red cardstock and white cardstock and then heat-embossed them with gold embossing powder. On the red cup, I masked around the cup and lid with masking tape, and I stamped and heat-embossed the poinsettia image. I cut the lid from the white cup and added it to the red cup with Scrapbookadhesive by 3L E-Z Runner Grand.

On a green cardstock, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment using the new Creative Worship: Get To The Point Alpha Clear Stamp Set. After that, I trimmed it and added it to the card with Scrapbookadhesive by 3L E-Z Runner Grand.

I added the red cup to the card with 3D foam tape and then embellished the card with some gems.

So, that’s my version of the red cup for this season… How about you? It’s your turn to create a cup of cheer and link it up with our 2022 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I cannot wait to see your project.
