Today I have 2 cards that I created using the Espresso Yourself Cutting File, one of the new cutting files from The Cut Shoppe that just released last week. I am sharing this project over The Cut Shoppe blog.

On these cards, I am using both positive and negative cuts. This way, you can use to make 2 cards with just 1 cutting file. I modified the Espresso Yourself cutting file a little bit to create these cut outs. Instead of the steamy heart image, I replaced it with one of the mugs from the Cuppa Joe cutting file.

On this first card, I added the words on dark brown/white polkadots paper with dries-clear adhesive glue. After that I fussy cut the extra paper off the words.

I added some shadow on the words using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and foam applicator. After that I added on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension to them. I love how those words turned out, they look like chipboard words. On the background, I added a softer look patterned paper.

On this second card, I added the cut out panel on a light brown/white polkadots patterned paper with dries clear adhesive glue and then I added the whole panel on a white card.

Using digital cutting files, it quick and easy way to create handmade cards. Here are The Cut Shoppe cutting files that I use on my cards today:

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Hope you all have a fabulous caffeinated day!

Gracie is releasing a new Coffee & Flowers digital stamp and you can grab this beautiful set at Graciellie Design Etsy Store today! And I am using this stamp set on my CAS Mixed Media card for this Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

I printed the flower cup image and sentiments on a heavyweight cardstock with my inkjet printer. I dried the ink with craft heater. Then I colored the image with the Leisure Arts Watercolored Pencils and waterbrush.

After that, I added some black splatters on the panel with watercolor paint and fan brush.

On the cup, After I colored it with watercolor penciled and waterbrush, I added some white gesso with my finger. I kindda painting it with my finger to give it some texture and shadow.

I cut the finished panel with Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies – CUTplorations. Then I added it on a A2 White Card with dries clear adhesive glue.

For the sentiment, I die cut it with one of the Tim Holts Tags Die Set. I added a piece of fun foam just in the middle of the tag, and then added it on the card with craft glue on the fun foam, and at both ends of the tag.

I embellished this card by I wrapped it with natural burlap twine on top of the card. And it is done. I love how this simple and quick card turned out to be, and I hope you do, too.

CAS Card ~ Black, White, and A Pop Of Color

Hello everyone… It is the day for having Thursday Coffee Break with me… I hope you all have been having a great week so far. Today, I have a CAS card with black, white, and a pop of color.

I am sharing this card and details at Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog. Coloring is one of the ways for me to calm down and relaxing. I love coloring with pre-printed images such as coloring book and also digital stamps using my favorite watercolored pencils and colored pencils.

Today, I have a CAS card that I created using one of the Power Poppy, Cup of Columbine. This digital stamp is also available in photopolymer clear stamp set just released this week called Cheerful Columbine.

I colored one of the flower with Leisure Arts Watercolored Pencils and using the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Clear Brush Pen. I love the sparkle on the flower and I wish it showed lots in the picture I took.

After I was done coloring the flower, I die cut the panel with Our Daily Bread Designs – Large Banner Diesand I added the banner on the black A2 card with dries-clear adhesive glue. The sentiment is from the Cheerful Columbine stamp set. I added the sentiment banner on top of the card with 3D foam tape.

I love working with digital stamps. They give me the freedom to resize the images to fit the projects I want to create. I hope you all also enjoy this post today.

THANK YOU so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Precious Remembrance New Stamp Release and Giveaway ~ A Card For A Fantastic Friend

Precious Remembrance Shop

Hello everyone… Today I have a card for a fantastic friend to share with you all. It is a fun watercolored card.

I created my card with the new stamp set from Precious Remembrance Shop called Little Things that is released and available at their store today. This is a fun stamp set that you can use for creating happy mail for any occasion. To celebrate this new release, we have a blog hop and giveaway for you!!! More information at the end of the post.

I started with creating my watercolored background using Gelatos Pastel colors. I scribbled the Gelatos on a piece of Canson Watercolor Paper, and blended the color with finger and baby wipes.

Once the background is dried, I stamped the triangles from the Little Things Stamp Set using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad. And after that I die cut it with 2 sizes of Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangles Nesting Dies.

I added the first die cut background panel on a white A2 card base with dries-clear adhesive glue, and then I added the middle die cut panel on the card using fun foam and dies-clear adhesive for extra dimension.

I stamped both sentiments on white cardstock strips using VersaFine Clair Charming Pink Ink Pad using my Mini MISTI, trimmed them into banner and added on the card with dries-clear adhesive glue. I added the hearts from Bits & Pieces Love Coupon on them. And then, I embellished the card with some white pearl gems.
