You Are So Amazing

STAMPlorations

Hello everyone… YOU ARE SO AMAZING! Yes you are… I am so greateful for all of you. Today, I have a fun watercolored card to share with you all 🙂

My card today is inspired by the image, theme and also colors from STAMPlorations April Challenge.

I started with creating the background using the Broken Glass ARTplorations Stencil. I traced each triangle with Arteza Woodless Watercolor Pencils on a watercolor paper, and I removed the stencil.  Using the watercolor brush, I pulled the color to fill the space and I ended with lots of watercolored triangles.

I cut the background panel with the medium size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. And I added it on the black card base with dries-clear adhesive glue. I added a red cardstock strip on the card with the same adhesive.

For the sentiment, I stamped the words from Bold Sentiment – Hashtag Authentic stamp set on a white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad using Mini MISTI. After that I trimmed them into word strips and added them on the card with 3D foam tape.

That’s my card. Easy to create but fun 🙂 I love it and I hope you do, too. Before you go… I have a coupon code for you to use to get 20% off on ALL STAMPlorations regular and sale-priced stamps, dies, and stencils. And that means including the NEW RELEASE prodcuts!!! April Challenge: Mother, You Are Tea-rrific

Joy Clair

Hello everyone… APRIL is here. Today April 1st is special! It is the day we are celebrating Easter Day and also our family is celebrating my mother’s birthday. She is a tea-rrific mother!!!

And this month also we are at Joy Clair blog has a new challenge with new photo inspiration and anything goes theme.

So inspired by my tea-rrific mother and the beautiful photo, I created this CAS card:

April Challenge: Mother, You Are Tea-rrific

I created the background using embossing resist technique with the Tea Party Background Stamp. I stamped it with Versamark Ink on a watercolor paper using the Mini MISTI. I sprinkled some mix Fine White Embossing Powder and Glitter Embossing powder. I heat set it with my craft heater.

After that using smooshing technique, I used the Broken China Distress Oxide Ink and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink. I added each color on craft mat, sprayed water, and dipped the paper. I dried it each time I added color. Then I cut it with one of the Crazy Running Stitch Rectangle Dies from STAMPlorations. I added the panel on the white card base.

Next step, I stamped the tea pot and sentiment from Mother’s Day Stamp Set on a white cardstock using Broken China Distress Oxide Ink with Mini MISTI. After that, I fussy cut the tea pot and I cut the sentiment into banner. I added the sentimen banned on the card with adhesive glue and the tea pot with 3D adhesive glue. I finished the card by adding some white pearl gems on it.

I hope you all enjoy this card today. I like the look of chinese tea pot 🙂 I hope you all also can play along with this month challenge. I opened the images with Photoshop software and added the gradient colors on the stacked mugs. It was so much fun coloring them digitally. Then I resized them and printed them on a white cardstock. For the sentiment, I open them with the same software, resized and printed them on a white cardstock.

I cut the mugs with one of the Our Daily Bread Design – Squares Dies. And I trimmed the sentiment with the same wide.

I found some coordinating patterned papers from my paper scrap box that I used on the background. I added the paper with adhesive glue, and then I added the images and sentiments on the cards with 3D foam tape. And they are done 🙂
