Clear Scraps | DIY Love Chipboard Wreath

Hello everyone… It’s time to change the decoration from Winter theme to Love theme becuase the Valentine’s Day is less than a month from today.

I am sharing this project on the Clear Scraps Blog today with all the details how to make it.

On this Love Wreath, I use the new Clear Scraps – Love Large Chipboard Embellishment. For the wreath base, I used a paper mache wreath base that I wrapped it with burlap ribbon. I used glue gun to secure the ribbon on the wreath base.

I used scrapbook paper to dress up the chipboard letters. And I used the Beacon Zip Dry Glue to add the scrapbook paper on the letters. I used craft sanding block to distress the edges of the chipboard letters. And I had some of these pompom ribbons and paper flowers in my stash to use on the wreath, too.

There are LOTS of new amazing products on the Clear Scraps Store that are released this month. I promise you will LOVE them!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a fabulous day!

DIY Snowflakes Bulb Ornament Pallet Wood Sign

Hello everyone! Christmas Day is 4 days away from today! And I am here today with another Christmas project idea that you can create for this Holidays home decor.

I made this Snowflakes Bulb Ornament Pallet Wood Sign using the Bulb Medium DIY Pallet Shape and 6″ Nordic Snowflakes Stencil. I am sharing the tutorial with pictures at Clear Scraps Blog today.

I started with painted the Bulb Medium DIY Pallet Shape with Metallic Antique Gold acrylic paint and foam brush with 2 coats. I let the first coat to dry at least 30 minutes and then I added the second coat. I set it aside to dry completely.

Next, I mixed the Snow Writer paste with extra fine Crystal Diamond glitter on my craft mat with pallet knife to give extra bling to the snow flake.

I put the 6″ Nordic Snowflakes Stencil on top of the painted bulb ornament pallet wood shape. While I held it down, I added the snow glitter paste on it with the pallet knife. I moved it around until the whole wood surface got covered. This texture paste needs about an hour to dry completely, more if you have thicker paste on it.

I made the red bow out of wired ribbon from my stash and Beacon All-Purpose Glue. I added the bow on that painted bulb ornament pallet wood with the same glue. This glue gun. And it is done.

This project is easy and fun to make for the Holidays home decor. Check out Clear Scraps store for various designs of the DIY pallet wood shape and stencils.

DIY Be Merry Farmhouse Pallet Sign

Hello hello hello… Christmas is 15 more days from today. Decorating the house is one of the things we do as family. And, I love making Christmas decorations. For this Christmas, I made this Be Merry Farmhouse Pallet Sign.

I am sharing full tutorial at Clear Scraps Blog today. I made this Farmhouse pallet sign using the Rectangle Medium DIY Pallet Shape (6.5″ x 16.5″ x 1/8″ birch wood pallet shape). The stencil I used is Be Merry 6″x16″ Stencil, which is one of the fabulous Farmhouse Stencils collection from Clear Scraps.

You will also need foam brushes and all-surface acrylic paints or chalk acrylic paints. You can use your own Christmas colors, on mine I used red (I mix it with black to get the burgundy shade) and white for the letters.

I made the burlap bow out of wired burlap ribbon from my stash, and then I added it on the wood with glue gun. I used hot setting on my glue gun and Gorilla Glue stick for sure it is strong.

I love how it looks on our mantle with the other Christmas decorations! I hope this project will give you an idea for your home decor at this holly jolly Holidays. Make sure to visit Clear Scraps Store for the wood pallet and stencils, and more home decor supplies!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you all have a wonderful Holidays!
