Here is my project to share with you today

STAMPlorations Thing With Wings Week 4

On my card today I used the Flutter Zen 1 Layering Dies – CUTplorations to create the background. I simply cut out the base butterfly die out of white cardstock and added them on the white card base.

And then I sprayed and splatted some of the FireWorks! Angel Pink, Rose Bud, and London Fog Sprays on it. I love how they also give the pearly-sparkly look on the card.

STAMPlorations Thing With Wings Week 4

The sentiment is from Fond Expressions – Shery Russ Designs that I stamped with Memento Rose Bud and Rhubarb Stalk Dew Drop Inks on a white card stock. I cut out the tail on the sentiment banner, and added on the card along with the pink twine and mini clothes wooden pin using 3D foam tape.

I finished the card with some of the white pearl gems. I hope you all like it and be inspired to create you own handmade card today and link up with us!

STAMPlorations Theme & Sketch Challenge Reminder

Hello everyone… We are third week of April already… WOW… Surely time flies fast, especially when we are having fun!

Today, I am sharing my last card as STAMPlorations Stamp & Theme Challenge Guest Designer. It’s been a fantastic 4 months creating with the team and sharing the projects with you all! Here are the theme and sketch for April Challenge:

Here’s my card I created inspired by the theme of this month challenge using the Trendy Butterflies 2 and this time I pair it up with Fond Expressions stamp set and Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

I created my background using Imagine Crafts – FireWorks! Sprays (Angel Pink, Rose Bud, London Fog) that I sprayed and splashed on a canson watercolor paper. Then I run it through my die cutting machine with the largest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. And then  I added the panel with Tombow Xtreme adhesive.

After that, I stamped the butterflies from Trendy Butterflies 2 with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad. And then I stamped the sentiment from Fond Expressions stamp set using Lollipop Ink Pad (Taylored Expressions) on a white cardstock and I cut it into a paper stripe with tail. I added on the card with 3D foam adhesive.

My card is done. I did not add any embellishment on it, becuase the spray itself already shiny 🙂

I hope you all are inspired to create your own project and link up with us at STAMPlorations April Theme & Sketch Challenge. Check out more inspirations from the design team on STAMPlorations Blog today. And when you play along using any STAMPlorations products, you always can also link it up at:

CLC Thursday Coffee Break: Thanks A Latte

Hello everyone…Happy Thursday. I hope you all so far have a fabulous week. It’s been a rainy week for us, but we had some good day to enjoy the Spring outside.

Today, I am sharing a mixed media card for Thursday Coffee Break at Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog. This project is also a CASE card inspired by our CASEing DT Link Up Party #12.

I created the background with Ken Oliver Color Burst Powder, Imagine Crafts – FireWorks! London Fog Spray, Broken Glass – ARTplorations Stencil, and Perfect Pearl Spray Mixture.

I added some of the Color Burst powder on the craft mat, spray with Perfect Pearl spray, and then smoosh in the canson watercolor paper in it to create the first wash. I dried in between blending and smooshing the ink. And then I added the stencil on the panel and spray the London Fog FireWorks! spray on it. I picked up the stencil right away to avoid the sipping under the stencil.

Once the panel dried, I run it through my die cutting machine with one of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies – CUTplorations. And added it on my card base with Tombow Xtreme Adhesive.

I added a silver paper doily from my stash with one of the pierced circle die cut on it.

I stamped the Cup of Roses from A Cup of Roses stamp set – STAMPlorations on canson watercolor paper with Mini Misti and Versafine Onyx Black ink pad. Then I colored it with Koi Watercolors Paint and I added glitter with Wink Of Stella brush. After the paint dried, I fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors and I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

Then I die cut the sentiment using Thanks A Latte Phrase Die – CUTplorations and pink cardstock and added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

That’s my card today. I like taking a break and coloring with any kind of medium. How about you?

I have a coupon for you to STAMPlorations store! They have great coffee/tea collection that some of them I used today on my card 🙂 You can get 20% off on all STAMPlorations regular and sale-priced stamps, stencils, and dies by using this code: STAMPGIRLHELEN when you check out (please copy and paste the code). Code can not be combined your code with any other discount codes.

THANKS A LATTE for stopping today! Have fabulous Thursday!

STAMPlorations Things With Wings Blog Hop & Linky Party Week 3

Welcome again to STAMPlorations Things With Wings Blog Hop & Linky Party! It is a 25 Days of celebrating Spring. This it the week 3 and the Design Team has created gorgeous Spring Themed projects to share with you.

This blog hop starts at STAMPlorations Blog. Also, you are invited to the the Linky Party, too. More fun to have a party with prizes, right? Find out how you can win one of the prizes and special discount code, please read till the end of this post…

I created a mixed media tag for this week inspiration:

First I added the Droplets ARTplorations Stencil on the tag that I create from Canson watercolor paper. I secure the stencil with washi tape, and then I added some Imagine Crafts – GooseBumps on it. Slowly I removed the stencil and set aside to dry. Wash the stencil right away after using GooseBumps liquid.

Once the texture dry well, I spray some of the FireWorks! Spray (Angel Pink, Rose Bud, London Fog), then using a fairly damp paper towel, I wipe it off some of the paint on the GooseBumps texture. I also added some splatters on it from the same sprays. Unexpected, but I love the surprise how the watercolored resist background turn out!

I stamped the bricks, bubble wraps and arrows from STAMPlorations – Mixed Media Grunge Stamp Set with Ranger – Black Archival Ink Pad.

Untitled

I stamped the sentiment from STAMPlorations – Trendy Butterflies 2 stamp set with Kaleidacolor – Bouquet ink pad on a white cardstock and cut it out into a strip. I added it on the tag with 3D foam tape.

Untitled

I also added the dragonfly that I cut out from the new Dragonfly – Layering Dies CUTplorations. I used purple cardstock and vellum paper. I used Imagine Crafts – On Point Glue to put the dragonfly together and added it on the tag.

I finished the tag by adding some Vintage Photo Distress Ink all around the edge with make up sponge.

Joy Clair Stamp Highlight: Mother’s Day

Hello everyone… I hope you all had a fabulous week with your love ones and great weekend to celebrate the Easter day.

Kicking off the new week, Joy Clair host a special stamp highlight event dedicated to mothers. I have a mixed media card to share with you using the Mother’s Day Clear Stamps.

I created the first bottom background panel with Color Burst powder with Perfect Pearl mixture spray, and then I die cut it with stitched die.

The second panel, I did embossing resist technique on it. First I stamped the tea pot with Versamark Ink Pad using my Mini MISTI. And I added some white embossing powder on it, then I heat set it. I repeated the step for extra thick embossed image. Then I added some of the yellow, green and orange Koi Watercolors paint on around the tea pot. For the leave, berries and Mother, I colored them with Spectrum Noir Aqua Marker. I used the fine point markers and using damp baby wipe to blend the colors. Once I was done with the watercoloring on this panel, I die cut it with smaller size from the same stitched die set.

Joy Clair Mother's Day Showcase

I stamped the sentiment from Mother’s Day Clear Stamps with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad on a white cardstock, and then die cut it with the stitched circle die.

I added the first panel on the card base with adhesive runner, then using 3D foam tape I added the second panel on the card. I wrapped around a natural twine around the card and then I added the sentiment circle on it with 3D foam tape.

I finished my card with some clear gems for extra bling 🙂 I hope you all can enjoy my card today and inspired to start making some handmade cards for Mother’s Day on May 14th.
