Caffein Fueled Paper Play | Odd To Craftin Desert Divas

Hello everyone… Today, I join my friend, Lisa, at her Caffein Fueled Paper Play post at Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog.

She is featuring one of the Super Sponsors, Craftin Desert Divas. Last month, the owner of Craftin Desert Divas announced their store closing. They have been great sponsor for our coffee loving community!

On both of my cards today I used their coffee themed digital stamp sets and also die sets. Their digital stamps come in black-and-white and pre-colored images and sentiments.

I imported the images to my Silhouette Studio software, turned on the print-and-cut feature, , resized the images, printed them on a white cardstock, and them cut with my Silhouette Cameo 3. Pretty easy and quick process, also I don’t have to fussy cut them.

I also used both of their rectangular and circle dies on each card.

For the sentiment, I simply printed them on white cardstock and then I trimmed them into sentiment strips.

It is a fun and quick way of creating cards with digital stamps. I hope you like them.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a fabulous caffeinated day!

Joy Clair 5th Anniversary and New Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joy Clair 5th Anniversary and New Release Blog Hop! We are so thankful you are here to join us celebrating this special birthday.

This blog hop, is not only Joy Clair design teams but also there are amazing guest designers sharing their projects showcasing Joy Clair clear stamps. You should arrive from Cornelia’s blog.

On my first project I use the new Everyday Collection: Crystal Background Stamp and You’re A Gem stamp set to create these CAS cards.

For extra blings to the gems and crystal, I used glitter cardstock for the background and I use glitter embossing powder to heat embossed the images.

I use resist-watercolor technique to create that crystal frame after that, I fussy cut them with scissors.

I stamped the sentiments in the middle of the crystal frames with VersaFine Clair ink pad.

These cards are super easy to make yet glittery and shiny.

For the second project, I created an art journal on my Traveler’s Notebook using the new Color By Faith collection: Shadow of The Almighty.

I started with creating the beach scene with white gesso and Gelatos.

I did not use any special technique. It is simply cover the pages with white gesso using flat brush and dry it.

After that, I scribble the Gelatos on the page and blended them with my finger. I used baby wipes to remove some of the blue color and the patterned left on the page turned into clouds.

I sprayed the page with Workable Fixative spray so the Gelatos won’t smeared or change.

After the background was done, I started to stamp the images on the page using VersaFine Clair ink pads. I dried it with craft heater. Colored the chair and umbrella with Dina Wakley Media Scribble Sticks.

I stamped the word “Psalms” with Lindsey Script Alpha stamp set and wrote the verse number with Tombow PITT Artist Pen.

Mixed Media Card | 1 Corinthians 16:14

Hello everyone… Happy Monday. Today, I would love to share this card with hope it will encourage you to do what you do with love. By doing that, you will encourage others, too.

I am in love with this new Peony Hugs Digital Stamp Bundle from Graciellie Design. In this digital stamp set, there are gorgeous images and uplifting sentiments which are great for any occasion cards, Bible journaling, and any type of projects you would like to make as gifts.

I use print-and-cut feature from Silhouette software. I printed the peony in mug with my inkjet printer on a white cardstock and cut it with my Silhoeutte Cameo 3.

And then I colored it with Prismacolors Pencils and coated it with some Wink of Stella clear brush. I set it aside to dry.

For the background, I use a watercolor paper. I sprayed some of the Pixie Spray on the Deco Foil Modern Links Stencil. I added it on the paper, then put some of the Black Ice Metallix Gel on the stencil, and spread it with baby wipe. That’s how I get the grungy, distressed look on the paper.

I put the paper in a box and then sprayed it with Maraby Art Sprays and blended the paints with water. I dried it with craft heater, and then I sprayed it again with some water and dabbed it off with paper towel. I added the finished panel on the a white card base with permanent adhesive glue.

I added the peony mug on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension. So instead of using gems or sequins, I added the extra bling by adding some dots around the mug with Deco Foil Adhesive Pen, let it dried, and then I added some of the Deco Foil Silver Shattered Glass Foil Transfer Sheet.

I used white acrylic paint and water for extra splatters on the card.

And I cut the printed sentiment using the Large Banner Die from Divinity Designs. I added it on the top of the card with permanent adhesive glue.

I hope this card cheer up your day! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge | Java Great Day

Hello everyone… Happy Monday! I hope this “coffee, cupcake and blooms” card can brighten your first day of the week.

On my card today, I use the Cupcake Blooms and Coffee Digital Stamp from STAMPlorations. Yes, they have digital stamp too!

I printed the image on a white cardstock and I cut it with my Silhouette Cameo using the print-and-cut feature from the Silhouette software. After that, I colored it with Spectrum Noir Primaries Colored Pencils.

For the background, I use a watercolor paper that I sprayed it with some sparkle pink paint spray using the Doodle Heart ARTplorations Stencil.

I dries the background with craft hearer and then I cut it with the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies – CUTplorations. I added it on the card with E-Z Runner Grand adhesive.

After that I added the image on it with 3D foam tape. I added some white paint splatters on it using the waterbrush and white acrylic paint with some water.

For the sentiment, I cut out another cardstock that match with the card base using the Java Great Day Phrase Die – CUTplorations. I added it on top of the image with permanent adhesive glue and some 3D foam tape.
