Today I share 3 ATC mixed media cards for a mini pocket letter swap friend. I created the cards using Flutter Zen 1 Layering Dies – CUTplorations, Trendy Butterflies 2 Stamp Set, and Color Blooms: Coloring Book For Cardmakers, Crafters, And Mixed Media Artists.

I created the background with Color Burst Powder and I sprayed with mix of Perfect Pearl and water. The third card on the right, I created the background with Alcohol Inks. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Ink Pad. And I also colored the flowers with Koi Watercolor Paints and I wrote the sentiment in the middle with Tombow Soft Brush Pen.

When I look back to the crafting, scrapbooking, papercrafting, cardmaking, mixed media, and Bible Journaling projects, all I can do is giving thanks for my husband who always encourage and support me in this journey, and my daughters who never stop inspire me with their loves and everyday smile. Also, there are so many people that have helped me to step out of my comfort zone and grow. I am thankful for so many video tutorials and even only picture tutorials on blogs, YouTube, craft forums, and being part of amazing design teams. But I always open to learn and explore!

Last month, ADORNit and Documented Faith announced that they looked for crafty girls to be their ambassadors. I sent my applications and waited. And I received email about the news from ADORNit and Documented Faith. I got accepted!

I am one of their ADORNit ‘it’ Girl Ambassadors and Blessed Friends Ambassadors for Documented Faith! So super excited for these news!!! I am being part of these two ambassadorships for 3 months. This is more that I ever imagined!

Have you ever heard about Pocket Letters? It is a new trend swaping trading card pocket pages with friends that you fill each pocket with 2.5″ x 3.4″ cards (standard trading card size) that you decorate and embellish them, plus on the back of the pocket, you can fill it with extra goodies that you wanna share and bless your swap friends. If you wanna know more about this Pocket Letter Pals Network, you can read all about it and watch the introduction video here from Janette Lane (founder and creater of the nextwork).

This is a new paper crafting project for me but it is just fun creating these little cards for friends And today I wanna share with you a page a made for a new friend I met on the network at Newbie Swap Forum. She sent me a beautiful, encouraging pocket letters and some goodies with it. So lovely!

Here the page I made for her…

I used papets from Studio Calico 6×6 pad collection that I found at TJ Maxx. I love the papers becuase they are thick enough to make these little note cards for the pockets. And love the natural color combo, too

Row 1: I made them using the Bible Journaling stamp set from Neat and Tangled. Embellished them with die cuts from Craftin Desert Diva and Martha Stewart butterfly punches. I watercolored the diecut tag and heart. And I heat embossed all the sentiments with mixed embossing powder. Yes, I mixed my Gold Embossing Powder with Clear Glitter Embossing Powder, and the the second mix is White Embossing Powder with Clear Glitter Embossing Powder.

Row 2: I used the bible journaling stamp set from Illustrated Faith that I got from Big Picture Classes store. I heat embossed the sentiment on vellum paper with Black Glitter Embossing Powder and added some extra gems, enamel stars and paper doily to embelish these cards.

Row 3: I used the Be The Light stamp set from Latina Crafter – Be A Blessing collection. I did some heat embossing and watercolor resist on them using Gelattos. I embelished them with some gems, paper doily and gold thread.

I made some mini card vellum envelopes for thesw cards using WRMK Envelope Punch Board.

And I added some goodies at the back of each pocket for her.

Wrap it with big paper doily and secure it with some baker’s twine. It is ready to go
