I am so excited today for being a guest at Polka Dot Orchard Collaboration Wednesday. I wanna give my thanks to Jessica and Esther for inviting me here. On my CAS Christmas card today I used this Home For The Holidays Digital Stamp Set from Polka Dot Orchard.

I open the wreath image with an image editing software and adjust the opacity to create a grey image for no-line coloring technique. After that, I printed the wreath and truck on a watercolor paper with inkjet printer.

I heat set the ink before coloring the wreath and truck so the ink on the printed image won’t blend in. Another trick for using watercolor on printed image is that you can print the image the day before and let it dry overnight.

I colored the wreath and the truck with Arteza Real Brush Pens and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. After the coloring done, I dried the them all with craft heater and then I fussy cut them with scissors.

I changed the color of the sentiment with the image editing software, and then I printed on a white cardstock. I trimmed the sentiment into a label and added some Vintage Photo Distress ink around the edges. I added it on the back of the wreath with permanent dries-clear adhesive glue. Next, I added the truck on the wreath with the permanent dries-clear adhesive glue.

I used one of plaid patterned papers from my stash as the background on a white card base. I trimmed a piece of another white cardstock into 3″ x 5.5″ and then I scored the lines to give it some texture. I added it on top of the card with permanent dries-clear adhesive glue.

Next, I added the whole wreath on the card with 3D foam adhesive.
