And the envelope flap, I decoded it with the big doily from the same stamp set usingĀ Olive Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad.

June 2014 Card Chain Challenge Reveal – Amazing Friend

Last month I participated at June Card Chain Challenge over Deborah’s blog. It is a fun card swap challenge. You created a handmade card and send to the person above you on the sign up list and then you will receive a handmade card from the person below you on the list. So, you send out one, you’ll receive one. Beside it is fun and challenging, it is also where you can make new friend and networking between handmade card makers. They are amazing! To know how you can participate in this month challenge, visit Deborah’s blog here.

This time I get to send my card to Greta. She is one sweet, crafty friend. I made this card for her following the options provided by Deborah here: color palate (pure sunshine, indigo blue, and real red) and theme (friendship):

I love this chevron stamp from In The Background (D1540) that Ā can be used to create fun and colorful background. To create this background card, I stamped it using Outdoor Denim (Z2140), Ruby (Z2170) and Honey (Z2162) Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads.

I stamped the flower from Funky BlossomsĀ (B1452) with Cranberry Ā Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2116) and Ā Topiary Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2155). I cut those flowers. The Cranberry one I cut just the flower and glued it on top of the green one so the only the leaves peeking out šŸ™‚ I finished the flower with some Sparkles Clear Assortment (Z1752)

Then I stamped the sentiment from Love This (B1432) with Black Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2105). The inside phrase is from March 2013 SOTM (S1303) and I stamped it with Ruby Exclusive Inks Stamp PadĀ (Z2170).

A Card For A Friend

One of my favorites card challenges is Card Chain Challenge hosted by Deborah Nolan. She is awesome! There were 27 participants for the February challenge, check all the cards here. They are just beautiful cards!

The joy creating cards for friends and families is a blessing in my life. I can’t keep it to myself, sending the card to them is the way to spread the joy šŸ™‚ Today I would love to share with you a card I made for my new friend,Ā WynetteĀ in Kansas:

There are 4 challenge options we can use for this challenge, and I picked the color palate, friend theme and wood veneer shapes. for this card. I used two of the CTMH new paper packets,Ā Timberline Paper PacketĀ andĀ Ariana Paper Packet. The stamp set I used is You Are My Happy set (retired). The embellishments are Wooden-Shapes Garden.

This is a fun challenge, you send a card, you get a card. I got a wonderful card from Cat C. from Maryland.

Deborah has the March Card Chain Challenge registration open now…. you can sign up HERE until Wednesday, March 19, 11:55 PM EST. Let’s join the fun with us!
