Gold, Silver, One Layer Card

I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is approaching fast!!! I hope you all are ready for this special day. Today, I would like to share a quick Thanksgiving card I created. I am inspired by Virginia’s View Challenge #9 this month:

So many gorgeous pictures for inspirations, aren’t they? And I decided to go with one layer with gold and silver embossing only. A quick and simple Thanksgiving card.

I arranged the leaves from Thankful Heart stamp set (B1463) on 3″ x 3″ My Acrylix® Block and stamped them using VersaMark ink pad (Z891) randomly on the card. Then I added some Ranger Gold Embossing Powder (Z2066). Then heat set it using Craft Heater (Z555). After that, I stamped the sentiment using VersaMark ink pad (Z891) and added some Ranger Silver Embossing Powder (Z2067). I heat set it.

I love the metallic looking!

Inside the card, I added a piece of copy paper that I folded into two and used Scallop Border punch (Z1851) to punch the edge. I added it inside layer using adhesive in the middle of the card. Then stamped the Happy Thanksgiving from Thankful Heart set (B1463) using Autumn Terracotta Exclusive Ink Pad (Z2101).

Joyful Stars Blog Hop: Christmas Projects

18 days ’till Thanksgiving and…
46 days ’till Christmas from today!

We are getting excited for this Holidays. I am finishing our Thanksgiving cards. They are ready to be sent out! And I have made a list of projects for Christmas. Number one project on my Christmas project list is making cards for family and friends, followed by decorations and kids craft projects 🙂

For this month Joyful Stars blog hop, I wanna share with you the cards I made using Snowhaven Cardmaking Kit. I got 15 cards (3 designs, 5 cards each design) done in 1 hour! You only need basic stamping supplies like My Acrylix® Blocks, Exclusive Inks® Stamp Pads (Glacier, Cranberry, and Whisper), glue and 3D foam tape.

Also, those stamp images outlined in red coordinate with the Cricut® Artbooking collection (Z1906).

I always have some left over from a kit I used. And check out one of the gift treat bags I made using the Snowhaven Cardmaking kit:

On one of the Designer Creations Ruby Paper Bags, I added some Sequins Gold Assorment and Snowhaven complements. I added a paper doily and gold tread using Liquid Glass. And finished it up with a staples on the flap using the new Mini Stapler. Love how this turn out!

Happy Autumn Card

Every month Deborah Nolan hosts a monthly challenge for card makers who love swapping their cards with others. This is a fun challenge and she even provides options for you to choose how you want to make your card either using the color palate, or theme, or sketch, or product. Also starting couple months ago, she offers prize also for those who sends their card out before the deadline.
