Just Because

I was so excited when I got my prize from Waffle Flower blog hop giveaway on last Friday! I won the new set, Surface – Tag Stamp Set and I couldn’t resist not to order the coordinating dies, Surface – Tag Die Starter Kit. And also I got the Bowtiful Die Set but cannot get the Bowtiful Stamp set because it was out of stock but now it is in-stock!

Here’s my first card I made using my first Waffle Flower products:

For the sentiment, I die cut a piece of Lagoon cardstock with the tag die and stamped it with the White Daisy Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad.

And the flower I made out of the small bows. I die cut Honey cardstock using the Bowtiful Die set and then just stacked 2 bows together using mini glue dots and added a button brad. Quick and easy, yet beautiful flower 🙂

I felt like something still missing on my card… So I added the Durable Triangle Studs. Yup! That’s it 🙂

The inside I stamped the Happy Birthday with Black Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. And for those stars, I stamped with Lagoon, Goldrush and Honey Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads.

1 Design, 2 Anniversary Cards

I know some friends who celebrate their anniversaries in this month, at least 4 in 2 weeks! Apparently June is a favorite month people to get married… including us! LOL!

Celebrating their anniversaries, I made some cards for them… today I would love to share 2 of the cards I made with one design from The Cutting Edge Challenge, a new challenge blog, the challenge is to create new cards using any die cutting machine. The first challenge is to create using any of these inspirations:

Here’s are my cards inspired by bottom left card:

The first card, I used the die cut flower petals and leaves on embossed background card. The die cut flowers and leaves are gifts from my card swap friend a few months ago. And the background card I embossed using CTMH Damask Embossing Folder with WRMK Evolution Advanced machine. I added some gems on the flowers and added them on the card using 3D foam tape.

The second card has the same embossed background card like the first one. I used Teal Shimmer Trim for the strips. The roses I cut with my Silhouette Cameo. To put them together, I used craft glue pen. I added some glitter on it. A bit more blings won’t hurt, right? I added the flower on the card with 3D foam tape.

The sentiment I used is from The Happy Couple stamp set (D1539) that I stamped it using Black Exclusive Inks stamp pad.

And they will be on their way tomorrow morning! I hope they’ll like them, and you too! 🙂 THANKS for visiting today!

DIY Embroidery Hoop Wall Decor: Bee Creative

TGIF! We love this weekend! There are 2 special days we celebrate this weekend: our 6th Anniversary and Father’s Day! I hope you also will have fabulous day celebrating Father’s Day with your family 🙂

And… for the extra fun… It is Die Cut Challenge time at Stuck On U Sketches! Our blog candy sponsor this month is from… Cutting Cafe, you can pick any of 3 sets from the store! How’s that for a yummy candy? 🙂

This time we challenge you to use any ANIMAL die cuts on your projects. To be enter to win the prize, you need to link up your project HERE. So here’s my project for this challenge:

sous-diecut-animal-1

I used this 10″ Embroidery hoop at craft store and piece of fabric that big enough for the hoop. I cut the Bumblebee (#11508) using my Silhouette Cameo. Then glued each shapes together using Elmer’s Craft Bond, Fine Line glue pen.

Then I glued the finished piece on the fabric using the Aleene’s Turbo Tacky Glue, all-purpose craft glue.

sous-diecut-animal-2

Then I added the title using CTMH Cork Alphabets (retired) and I felt something was missing… so I added extra embellishments from Mini-Medley Accents Ruby Collection. Love the fabric flower, button, clothe pins and baker twine in this mini set!

Here’s the close up of the hoop:

This is very easy and quick to make once you gather the supplies. And it is up on my craft room wall now! I thin I am going to make more in different designs 🙂

This challenge last for 2 weeks. Come and join us! I cannot wait to see your projects!

DIY Baseball Banner for Baby Boy Shower

Couple months ago, our friend had a baby shower for their baby boy and they picked baseball themed party because they are a huge fan of Cincinnati Reds (we are too! :D) So, I created this banner for them:

hg-babyshower-baseball-banner

First, I created the baseball shape using Silhouette Studio Designer software and then I cut them with my Silhouette Cameo. The size of each baseball is 5 inches. For the balls I used White Daisy Cardstock and the red stitching I used Ruby Cardstock. Then I punched the holes and I used jute twine I got from a craft store.

For the name, I cut out the letters from Black Cardstock and I added some glitter using Wink of Stella glitter brush. Then I added the letters on the balls using 3D foam tape to give some dimension to them.

We totally had a fun baseball themed baby shower for my friend’s baby boy! Friends and families celebrated the blessing of God in this family. And few weeks ago we finally met this little guy! He is adorable!
