For this New Blog Hop, I created cards using the Three Wise Men Clear Stamps:

When I see the image of the Three Wise Men, I was imagining stained glass that I saw at church windows. So, I started with stamping the image with Versamark ink pad using my MISTI on a piece of Canson watercolor paper. Then I added the Ranger Gold Princess embossing powder. I did not remove the stamp of the MISTI yet, then I thought I wanted to double-heat embossed the image for more bold line for the watercoloring later. I re-stamped the image and heat-embossed it again. But if you have high-raise embossing powder, you can do the embossing just once

After embossing process, I started to color them with Spectrum Noir Aqua markers. Then with a small round painting brush, I wet the colors and turned them into watercolor look They look fabulous, don’t you think?

And I decided to do the same double-heat embossing for the sentiment for bolder and shiner effect on a one-layer card:

Then I added some splatters on the card using Shimmerz – Inklingz Good As Gold watercolor paint with small round brush. This gold paint gives the extra shiny and metallic texture on the panel. After that I die-cut the panel with Double Stitched Rectangles Dies from Our Daily Bread Designs.

I added the panel on a black card base with lots of adhesive runner on the backside to make sure the watercolor paper stays well and flat on the card base.
