1 Kit, 4 Card Designs and More

We had a cold weekend, even some snow! We stayed home, resting and finding fun things to do inside, like my husband and the girls put up the hammock stand that came from REI. So looking forward to have it outside at the backyard 🙂

And… A box I has been waiting finally arrived, too! A happy mail from Hero Arts, the My Monthly Hero kit.

I ordered it on the release day and it is now sold out. In this box there are so many fun crafty supplies: stamp set, matching die set, card samples, watercolor paper samples, pearls, watercolor brush, and sample of Daniel Smith Watercolor paints.

So, since it was cold day, I spent my day in my craft rooms doing some projects for a local Art and Craft Bazaar. I had a chance to make cards using the kit. The first card is one layeres card.

I heat embossed the flowers and leaves using Ranger™ Clear Super Fine Embossing Powder, then colored them using Daniel Smith watercolor paints. Oh…they are GORGEOUS colors!

I heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of vellum paper with Ranger™ Princess Gold Embossing Powder. Then I added the vellum on the card using Tombow Adhesive for vellum, it is transparant. I added some of the green pearls on the card.

The second card, I diecut the layered on the white cardstock pannel and I stamped the flower using Black Archival Ink and them colored it using ShinHan™ Touch Twin™ Peony Purple Marker and Golden Yellow Marker.

I added the pannel on the cardbase using some 3D foam tape to give some pop to the flower petals. I stamped the sentiment using mini ink pad that came in past Hero Arts kit. I added a gem in the middle  of the flower.

For these 2 designs, I added some Gold DecoFoil with double-sided tapes. Loving the extra shiny on these cards.

For this card, I curled the petals after I diecut it. I colored the flowers using Gansai Tambi watercolor paints.

I die cut one side of these card base, added some colored papers inside, foil and the small diecut flowers.

I love this kit! Endless possibility to create cards for sure.

Thank you so much for visiting today and I hope you are inspired to create today 🙂 Blessings to you all!

  1. All cards are so pretty. I love the watercolor look and the gold touches. Very stunning. Thank you so much for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Hugs, Sandra

  2. All of these cards are fantastic, but I have to admit the card with the purple flower really caught my eye, its so classic and sophiscated looking, I love it. Thank you for joining Diecut Divas April Challenge. Cathie DT
