Hello everyone… I am back today with a Merry Christmas card using stencil and die only. I also had fun creating backgrounds with stencil in two ways.
STAMPlorations has a fun blog hop featuring the new ARTplorations stencil from Sanna Lippert Designs. To see my first project for the blog hop, you can go to HERE. It is where you can enter the giveaway.
On this card, I used the Evolution Stencil. I had fun with this stencil creating the backgrounds. First, I added the Distress Crayons (Peacock Feather, Evergreen Bough, Iced Spruced, Chipped Sapphire and Seedless Preserves) on the watercolor paper and wet my finger with baby wipes to blend the pigment.
And then I added the stencil on the paper and I added the Black Soot Distress Ink with foam stencil dauber. After that, I grabbed another paper and flip over the inked stencil on it and get the second monoprinted background.
I used one of the printed background to create my card. I run it through my diecutting machine with the largest die from the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies and I added it on the card base with adhesive. And then I die cut the sentiment out of silver metallic paper using the Merry Christmas Word Art Die – CUTplorations. I added the sentiment on the card with pen liquid adhesive.
I finished my card with some natural twine ribbon and sequins.
