Coffee Loving Cardmarkers and Sweet n Sassy Stamps Collaboration

Here are my two coffee cards for this blog hop. I am inspired by the color combo from the bloghop promo image above:

On my first card, I used the I like Big Cups Clear Stamp Set, Coffee Talk 2 Clear Stamp Set, and Texture Tiles 9 Clear Stamp Set.

I stamped the mug image and sentiment on white cardstock using Catherine Pooler Ink Pads (Aguatini, Over Coffee, Black Jack). And then I fussy cut it with scissors.

For the banner, I stamped the script with Over Coffee ink pad and cut it with the Large Banner Dies from Divinity Designs. I tied up some twine on top of this banner.

I added the pattern paper and stamped banner on card with permanent adhesive and I used 3D foam tape to add the mug on the card.

My second card is a slimline card and I used the Texture Tiles 9 Clear Stamp Set and Happy Mail, the January Stamp of Month.

For the base mat, I cut out a piece of white cardstock using the Wavy Slimline Framelit Dies from Dare 2B Artzy. I added the Aquatini ink on it with a large oval blending brush. I added on the card base with permanent adhesive.

Next, I stamped the coffee beans with Over Coffee ink pad on a white cardstock. Then, I cut it with the smaller die from the D2BA slimline framelit dies. I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

I cut out a white cardstock with the banner die from the same D2BA slimline framelit dies and I stamped the sentiment on it with Over Coffee ink pad. I added on the card with permanent adhesive.

I stamped the images from Happy Mail set with the Aquatini ink pad and Black Jack ink pad on white cardstock and then I fussy cut them. I colored the hearts with alcohol marker. I added them on top of the sentiment banner with permanent adhesive and small gluedots.

  18. Loving your cards! I love the shades of blue in both the cards, and the teeny-tiny background bits – the script and the coffee beans(?). Definitely cards that would bring a smile to one’s face!

  22. Your cards are lovely Helen; teals, turquoise, aqua… they are my favorites and I love the colors paired with them. I adore the “Life Happens, Coffee Helps” because it is so so true sometimes. LOL My morning cup of coffee always starts my day off on the right sip-step… a cherished daily moment for me with a Blessing and Prayer. Thank you so much for sharing and please stay safe.
