DIY Color Blooms Bookmarks

Coloring is becoming a fun and relaxing thing to do not only for children but also for adults. And even more, it is a popular technique for cardmakers, papercrafters and mixed-media artists. And there are so many ways you can use your colored pages.

Earlier this August, Shery from STAMPlorations just released her first coloring book, Color Blooms, specially designed for cardmakers, crafters and mixed-media artits. I was blessed to win her book from her first release blog hop and link (doing happy dance… :D)

Color Blooms Coloring Book

This book is full of beautiful blooms that you cannot resist to color them! I cannot wait to color them with any coloring mediums I have in stash 🙂

And today I am sharing bookmarks that I made from the free sample pages (download it here), that I colored them with watercolor paints and ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.

Color Blooms: Bookmark 1

My daughters love reading and these bookmarks will be little gifts for them 🙂 I wrote their names with Black Tombow Dual Brush pen. You can tell one love pink and the other loves purple.

Color Blooms: Bookmark 2

And these other 2 bookmarks I stamped the sentiment from Bold Sentiment – Hashtag Authentic with Ranger Archival Ink. These will be a little gift for my crafty friends when I send out happy mail to them 🙂

All four of the bookmarks I laminated with Self-Laminating Plastic and added some twines on them.

There a link up and blog hop party over STAMPlorations blog now to see gorgeous inspirations and if you love coloring but not yet have her book, you still can donwload the free sample page she provides there. It will be fun link up party!

Thank You so much for visiting me today and have a fabulous blessed day!
