DIY 3D Paper Flowers Arrow Sign

I love papers and flowers. Making paper flowers is one of my favorite craft project. And today I am sharing another 3D paper flower with arrow wooden sign.

This time I am working with the Cutting Cafe – Paper Flower Template and Cutting File and my Silhouette Cameo. This cutting files also come with PDF file that you can print and trace as template if you do not have electronic cutting machine. And the patterned papers I used this time is one of the CTMH retired BT Duo papers.

First, I resized the petals to 2 sizes: 3 in and 4 using Silhouette Studio Designer Edition Software. Then I cut them. I double cut them just to make sure they all cut well since I had older blade in 🙂 But if you have new blade, you don’t have to double cut.

I used heat glue gun to put them together. It is very easy to do. There is a video tutorial here that you can see what tools needed and steps to put them together. In the video, she only used one petal for the flower bud, but I used 2 petals since I made bigger flowers so it will look fuller. The rest, I followed the steps.

Here how they look when they are finished and on the arrow wooded signs. And they are ready to be personalized with paint or wood-burning tool. I just need to think of what phrases to write on them 🙂

I really love these flowers and planning to make more of them. Maybe next time I’ll try felt. What do you think? Do you like making paper flowers or your own home decor? What is your favorite?

THANK YOU so much for visiting me today and hope you all have a fabulous blessed day!
