Hello everyone… Happy Friday! It’s been a busy month for us but it is all fun… When we got caught in too many activities, sometimes we need some encouragement to keep us going. Today, I have a set of encouraging cards that I created using digital stamp.
Using digital stamp set is one way to make a bunch of cards in short time. That’s what I do on these cards. I am using this Graciellie Design – You Matter Digital Stamp Set on my cards. This digital stamp set has encouraging sentiments that is great to use on projects.
I used the flower image to create the backgrounds on the cards. I use Photoshop but you always can use any type of picture editing software, you even can use this digital stamp files with Word document software.
I opened the files, and then resized it.
Next, I created a square with 4 flowers and group them into 1 image.
Resized it again to fit the size. I have several different sizes ready to use for other projects.
And then it was only simply copy and paste the square flower image and arrange them on the page.
I printed the finished background page with inkjet printer in black and white.
I dried the printed image with craft heater for coloring and avoid smudging ink.
To color the background, I used Leisure Art Premium Colored Pencils and Tombow Dual Brush Blending Pen.
After I colored all the flowers, I trimmed them into smaller panels and then added them on the grey cardstock mats using Scrapbook Adhesive E-z Runner Grand.
I added all the finished background panels on the A2 White Cards (4.25″ 5.5″) with the same adhesive runner.
For the sentiment, I printed them on white cardstock and trimmed them to fit across the front cards. I added the sentiment strips on the cards with 3D fun foam and Art Glitter Dries-Clear Adhesive Glue.
My cards are done and ready for any time when I need them to send out to family and friends who need some encouragement.
I hope you all enjoy this post today and inspired to keep creating and sharing joy through handmade cards. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. Have a wonderful and beautiful day… See you next time!
