Father's Day Card For Grandfather

Hello everyone… About a month from today it will be Father’s Day! The day we celebrate how special a dad, father, and grandfather in our lives. Today, I have a Father’s Day Card for Grandfather.

Both of my grandfather had passed away when I was little, but I have some memories about them. My card I created today because of the memory of my Grandfather.

I started with the background. I stamped the Broken Brick Background Stamp Set using MISTI with Brilliance Moonlight White Ink Pad on a light grey cardstock. I dried it with craft heater, trimmed it to 4″ x 5 1/4″ , and added it on a black A2 card with E-Z Runner Grand adhesive.

Next step, I stamped the 2 sentiment phrases from the Classic Father’s Day Stamp Set on a white cardstock strip with VersaFine Clair Glamorous Ink Pad. And I added it on the card with 3D foam.

For the car, I stamped it on a heavyweight cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad and added some of the holographic embossing powder for extra sparkle on it. I heat it up with craft heater and after that, I colored it with Leisure Arts Watercolored Pencils and small round paint brush. I dried it with craft heater, and then I fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors. I added it on the card with 3D foam tape slightly overlapping with the sentiment.
