Growing In Unity Day 5 | Kindness Cards

Hello everyone… It is Growing in Unity Day 5. For today, I have couple of kindness cards to share with you all.

It is my last day sharing my projects with Unity, but it doesn’t mean I won’t be sharing in the future. I am so grateful for all of you have taken time to stop by my blog this week and leaving me so many sweet comments about the projects. It is just because… YOU ALL ARE SO KIND!!!

It is a CAS card with a shaker that I created the I Consider You Special – Sentiment Kit. It is a fun, simple card to make.

I stamped the circle doily on a white cardstock with Nocturne VersaFine Clair ink pad on a white. And then I cut the middle of the doily with circle die. But if you don’t have circle die that fits, you can simply fussy cut it with scissors. I fussy cut the rest of the doily with scissors.

On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the flower and butterfly with VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad, and then I added some colors on it using smooshing technique with dye inks and water. I dried the watercolor ink with craft heater, and then fussy cut them with scissors.

I stamped the sentiment in the middle on the card with Nocturne VersaFine Clair ink pad. I added a piece of acetate plastic on the doily and then added some 3D foam to create that shaker doily. I added it on the card.

On both my second and third cards, I use the Let Your Wishes Fly – Sentiment Kit. And I used the stamping with acrylic stamping block, watercolor markers, and water to create both backgrounds. I dried them with craft heater.

I stamped the images in the middle of the backgrounds with VersaFine Clair ink pads. Then, I stamped the sentiment also with VersaFine Clair ink pad. I cut them with Fancy Frames die set.

I created both watercolor backgrounds for the cards with CP dye inks and water. I dried them with craft heater and then added them on white cards with permanent adhesive. And then I added the image and sentiment panels with 3D foam tape.

Unity Sentiment Kits are great kits to make cards for your friends and families to show how much you love and care for them.

  6. I love these cards, Helen! They are so beautiful and vibrant and full of good cheer! I love the sentiments and images and everything about them! Great work!

  7. My favorite is the dragonfly card (I collect all dragonfly). The many thanks card looks so soothing that it would also make a wonderful sympathy card. If it is allowed, I would like to case it to BBC send to someone.
