Coffee and Love Collaboration Blog Hop and Giveaway

And I created a surprise pop up card with spotlight coloring technique using the Coffee & Love Digital Stamp Set.

Coffee and Love Collaboration Blog Hop and Giveaway - Surprise Pop Up Card

I have an extra pre-cut card from a previous projects from Close To My Heart. I also have tried this fun and easy tutorial how to create this fun card. You can watch the video tutorial here.

I printed out the coffee cup image on a white card stock. I use one of the ODBD Circle Dies to die cut the area I want to color as the spotlight image.

I added the panel on the easel part of the card. Then I colored the spotlight circle piece using Darice Studio71 Alcohol Markers. I added the finished circle on the card with 3D foam tape.

I also added some white pearl gems to embellish the front card.

For the surprise inside card,  I cut out the printed sentiment in size that fit in the card. Then I added some Vintage Photo Distress ink around the edge of the panel with sponge for some shadow.

I added it on the card with adhesive. And the card is done.

Paint It Red XOXO Coffee Cups Card

STAMPlorations

Hello everyone… I am back today with a Valentine’s Day themed card. I love coffee with lots of love in it 🙂 So here’s the Paint It Red XOXO Coffee Cups card for you…

STAMPlorations Paint It Red XOXO Coffee Cups Card

This card I created also for the special monthly challenge at STAMPlorations using Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies, and A Cuppa Love Stamp Set.

I painted a piece of watercolor paper with red watercolor paint using flat watercolor brush to created the ombre look on it. I used craft heater to dry it. Then I cut it out with 2 sizes of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. First, I added the larger panel with adhesive glue, and next I added the smaller panel in the middle with 3D fun foam with adhesive glue.

STAMPlorations Paint It Red XOXO Coffee Cups Card

I stamped the cup from A Cuppa Love Stamp Set with Versafine Onyx Black twice, colored it with Crimson Spectrum Noir Aqua Marker and Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush Pen. After that, I fussy cut them and added them on the card with adhesive glue and 3D fun foam for extra dimension to it.

Here’s the inspiration I got to create my card 🙂 Isn’t it cute and perfect for this month?

There are some changes with the monthly challenges due to Shery’s family situation…You’ve probably heard that they had a new addition to the family. Shery delivered her second baby girl named “Winter” in December. In order to give Shery a little time to catch her breath after giving birth and to adjust to daily life with two little ones in addition to running the store, we are going to take a little “Winter” break!

So, rather than all of our normal monthly challenges, there will be just one challenge for you to join each month. The monthly challenge will have a theme. And the February Challenge is Photo Inspiration Challenge. Here are the simple rules to play along with the challenge:

  • You may create any type of project — cards (any style), mixed media, tags, layout, etc — as long as it follows our theme
  • STAMPlorations product is not required though we’d love to see it
  • You may enter as many times as you want – as long as each project has its own blog post
  • You must display the challenge graphic + link back to the challenge page to qualify for the prizes
  • You must comment on the entry before yours in the gallery – lets spread the love
  • For an extra chance, comment on the challenge post and the designers’ blog posts throughout the month

Prizes:

  • TWO (2) winners of a $25 gift certificate – randomly drawn from all entries
  • ONE (1) winner of a $25 gift certificate – randomly drawn from all comments left on the designers’ blogs throughout the month

And… Shery is offering a generous 10% (no coupon code needed) off all stamps, stencils, and dies in the store from February through April!!!

Now… it’s your turn to get crafty and creative… Don’t forget you can link up your project HERE until February 28th.

THANK YOU so much for stopping by my blog and have a fabulous day!

Just Because

Unity Stamp Company

Hello everyone… Happy Friday! I have a clean-and-simple Just Because card to share with you today…

Just Because

A friend of mine asked me to make some cards for her and this is one of them. I simply stamp the dandelion flower from Unity Stamp Company Sentiment Kit July 2016 on the white card base with Versafine Onyx Black. Then I stamped the small flower with First, Second and Third Generation stamping technique.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set on a white paper strip, trimmed it down, and I added it on the card with 3D fun foam and adhesive glue.

Card is done. Simple and quick to make for every day occasion card 🙂 I hope you enjoy this card today. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog toda! Have a wonderful day!

The Month Of Love – February Anything Goes Challenge

Joy Clair Clear Stamps

Hello everyone… The month of Love is here. I can feel the love is in the air… And today I have couple of love themed cards to share with you.

Joy Clair The Month Of Love - February Anything Goes Challenge

My cards are inspired by the photo inspiration from Joy Clair February Challenge. You are invited to join their challenge this month. You can create anything goes project(card, mixed media, art journal, gift, etc.) inspired by the photo above, it could be the one of the images, the color combo, the love themed… pretty much any inspiration you get from the photo. You can use any stamps you have, but if you have any Joy Clair stamps, we would love to see how you use it on your project, too 🙂

You can link up your project here until February 27th. The more you link up, the more chances you have to the the gift certificate to Joy Clair store. The winner will chosen randomly and will be announced on Joy Clair blog.

The Month Of Love - February Anything Goes Challenge

I created my cards using the new stamp sets from Joy Clair called Scriptures of Love, Love Languages, and Valentine Background Builder.

The Month Of Love - February Anything Goes Challenge

On this first card, I stamped directly on the card base the 2 pattern stamps from the Valentine Background Builder using 2 shades of pinks: Memento Dew Drop Angle Pink and Rose Bud.

Then I stamped the sentiment from Love Languages with Memento Tuxedo Black, and then stamped the heart arrow with Memento Dew Drop London Fog and Rhubarb Stalk. I added the sentiment strip on the card with adhesive glue.

I finished the card with Doodlebug pink twine and some white peal gems.

The Month Of Love - February Anything Goes Challenge

And for the second card, I created the watercolor background first. I added randomly some pink wash watercolored paint on a watercolor paper. Then I sprayed some water, and dabbed it off with paper towel for some splatter texture on it. I dried the watercolor panel with craft heater.

Next, I stamped the heart pattern stamp from Valentine Background Builder with TE Cherry Ink Pad. Then I tore the edges to create a square shape. I added on the card with adhesive glue.

I heat embossed one of the sentiments from Scriptures of Love with extra fine white embossing powder, cut it with circle die ad added on top of the watercolor panel with adhesive glue.

I finished this card with some Doodlebug red twine and white pearl gems, too.

I hope these cards can give you some inspirations to create some cards to spread the love with others 🙂

THANK YOU so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a wonderful day and YOU ARE LOVED!
