Fall Thank You Card with Die-Cuts

I love Fall and I cannot wait to enjoy this season. The season marks with harvest, thanksgiving and colorful leaves. That is not all, the season of giving God the thanks for what He has done in and through our lives!

Today, I am sharing a thank you card I made using a stamp background and 3 sets of die.

HLS Anything Goes With Dies Challenge, card handmade by Helen Gullett.

I colored the Barnwood Background stamp with Tombow Dual Brush Pen, and sprayed it with some water. Then I added the piece of CTMH Watercolor paper on it. I rubbed it gently all over to make sure the ink transferred well on the paper. Then I picked it up and put aside to dry. You can also use heat gun to dry it.

While my watercolored panel was drying on the side, I worked on the die-cuts. I picked some fall colors from DCWV glitter mat paper pad. Then using my WRMK Evolution Advanced diecutting machine, I die-cut the leaves out of the Layering Leaves Dies and Thanks Card Die. I cut off the extra from to form the word THANKS.

I diecut the watercolored background panel with the scallop stitched frame from Fancy Frame Die set. And then I added it on the card base with lots of adhesive on the back of it. Then I arranged the leaves on it after I run them through my mini Xyron sticker maker. I added the work THANKS on the leaves with CTMH Liquid Glass glue. And finished it with some Fall Mix sequins from Neat and Tangled.

I tried to take a better picture with all the glitter papers on it, this is the best I got 🙂 I hope you like my card today and inspired to create Fall theme cards.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for visiting and have a fabulous blessed day!

I Am Totally Blessed

We can find inspirations for around us to create. I love finding inspirations from my family, my daughters’ art works, our backyard, pictures I took when we went camping and hiking, others cardmakers, and of course Pinterest, ets. When you stop and look around, you’ll find the inspirations you need 🙂

And today, I am inspired by this photo when I created my card from Addicted To Stamps and More Challenge 210 – Photo Inspiration

Challenge #210

I created that watercolor wash background using Tombow Dual Brush pens. I simply scribbled the blue, teal and hot pink brush pens on my craft mat and sprayed some water, then I dipped a piece of CTMH Watercolor paper. I dried it with my CTMH Craft Heater in between of adding more colors on it. Once I was happy with the wash of colors on it, I dried it one more time. And then I used my WRMK Evolution Advanced diecutting machine and Craftin Desert Divas – Fancy Frame Dies to cut the scallop stitched shape panel.

I stamped the arrow from STAMPlorations – Mixed Media Grunge set with Ranger Archival Ink Pad. And then I stamped the I Am using CTMH Alpha stamp set and Ranger Archival Ink Pad. After the stamping, I added the word Totally Blessed that I die-cut them out of out Craftin Desert Divas – Greeting Word Dies. I watercolored the die-cut words with the soft green Tombow Dual brush pen it will match with one of the color from watercolor wash background. I added the die-cut words on the card with glue pen.

I finished the card by adding the finished panel on a black card base with Scrapbook Adhesive runner and adding some pearl gems on it.

That’s my card for today. I hope you are inspired to create something pretty today 🙂

Thank You for visiting and have a fabulous blessed day!

Color Blooms: Monochromatic Thank You Card

Monochromatic technique is a tchnique of creating cards that having or made up of one color or shades of one color. This might sounds simple but it might also a challenge.

Today, I am sharing a monochromatic card using one of the Color Blooms sample page from STAMPlorations.

Color Blooms and Spectrum Aqua

I printed this page on Canson Watercolor paper and colored it with Spectrum Aqua markers and watercolor brush.

Color Blooms - Monochromatic Thank You Card

I cut out the edges of the panel and then added it on the hot pink – American Crafts solid card base. Then I die-cut the word Thanks from Craftin Desert Divas – Greeting Word Dies with my WRMK Evolution Advanced diecutting machine.

I watercolored the diecut word with hot pink Tombow Dual Brush pen and added some Ranger Star Duat Stickles. Then I added the diecut word on the card with silver thread with glue pen.

That’s my clean, simple and monochromatic card 🙂 And it is mail-friendly, too!

Thank You for visiting me today and have a fabulous blessed day!

Autumn Sentiment Frame Cards

Good morning… Happy Labor Day to all of you who are celebrating this special holiday in USA. Enjoy the time off work and the beautiful day with your family and friends.

Today I am sharing Autumn and Thanksgiving cards using Autumn Sentiment Card Frames and Fall Blessings printable set from The Cutting Cafe.

The Cutting Cafe: Fall Frame Cards

Thanksgiving is one of the Holidays when I make lots of cards. And one way of mass produce cards is using digital sentiments and images. I made these 12 cards in an hour! I used the Fall Paper Pads from ekSuccess and the matching paper leaves I got from Walmart 🙂 For extra depth and texture, I added some Distress Ink all the edge of the panels and sentiment strips.

On some of the cards you can see I added some watercolor paints and splatters for some extra texture and backgrounds for the leaves 🙂 I also embellished them with some sequins and gold threads.

And I found some cupcakes 3D stickers on my stash that perfect for the Birthday Autumn frame 🙂 Mini Stapler is perfect for putting together a bunch of leaves and also as extra embellishment, too.

That’s all my cards today 🙂 I love stamping, but digital stamps and sentiments are handy for mass production, don’t you think? I hope you are inspired to create pretty things today 🙂 And keep sending happiness and joy with handmade cards to your friends and families!

Thank You for visiting and have a fabulous blessed day!

Shower The People You Love With Love

I am not ready to leave Summer behind. But September has arrived and I also love how the weather is cooling down a little bit here in Southern Ohio 😀 Can’t have everything at the same time, right? LOL! I am just thankful every day we can enjoy the goodness of our God in this given life.

Today, I am sharing a card I created with embossing resist with Distress Inks. Lately I love playing with these inks. Especially I found out how fun to blend them together 🙂

Shower With Love

On this card, I first heat-embossed the image from Unity Stamp Company – April KOTM (this set is waiting patiently in my basket to be use…finally!) with Ranger White Embossing Powder on a piece of 4.25 inch x 5.5 inch White Cardstock. Then I blended the Distress inks with make up sponges since I do not have the blending tool. These sponges work well 🙂

Mini Distress Inks I used on this card are Fire Bricks, Spiced Marmalade, Crushed Olive, Evergreen Bough and Seedless Preserves. After I blended them, I splashed some water, let it sit for 10-15 seconds, and dabbed it with paper towel for some texture on the distressed background. I die-cut the panel with WRMK Scallop Rectangle die and Evolution Advanced diecutting machine.

I added some gold glitter paint on a black cardstock for the background. Then I added the die-cut panel on it with Tombow Xtreme Adhesive. I finished the card with the sentiment that I stamped on a vellum and heat-embossed it with Black Glitter embossing powder, and some gold sequins.

I think the love theme sentiment goes great with the rainbow blended colors and some gold. What do you think?

THANK YOU for visiting me today and I hope you are inspired to create something special for your loved ones. Have a fabulous blessed day!
