HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL! May this year will be full of hope, peace, and good health.
Some of us might be stepping into this new year with some questions about what will this year bring with it, how life going to be, or when our kids will be able to go back to school, and more… there is still uncertaain feeling but I pray for you all that the LORD will keep you, and bless you, and shine His face upon you, and show you His favor. Let us put our hope in Him, the creator of all, the one who is certain and unchangeable.
On this new year, I have a fun card to share with you all. STAMPlorations kick of the new year with new challenges. I made this card for the January Stencil Challenge.
First, I cut put the Travel Mug CUTplorations. Next, I put the positive and negative cuts on MISTI and then I stamped the travel mug image from the Anywhere There’s Coffee Stamp Set using VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad. I repeated these step to get a secong mug.
I stamped the sentiment on one mug and the lines on the second mug using the same ink pad colors with the background. I added both mugs on the card with permanent adhesive and 3D foam tape.
I hope my card sparks an idea for you. Now it’s your turn to create projects using your stencils you have in stash. This Christmas elf is working really hard catching up with the Christmas card projects at last minutes. And the solution is… mass- produce CAS Christmas cards using digital stamps and digital papers!!!
I had a card sketch that stuck in my brain but I totally forgot where I saw it. So… the sketch design is credited to the person who design it. And here’s how I made this card:
I used Silhouette Studio to open and resize the wreath image. After that, I turned on the Print-and-Cut feature.
I printed wreath image in a batch using inkjet printer on heavy weight cardsrock
I cut the wreaths with my Silhouette Cameo 3. This way really saved me lots of time to fussy cut them one by one!
I colored the wreath with Arteza EverBlend markers.
I cut the wreath into half to make 2 carsd.
I printed the digital papers on white cardstock, then trimmed it into 4 – 4.25” x 5.5” card front panel.
I printed the sentiments on a white cardstock, trimmed them into sentiment label.
I put the pieces together on A4 white cards using permanent adhesives and 3D foam tape.
I embellished the card with some white pearls.
I hope this CAS Christmas card can spark an idea for you. Let me know what is your favorite technique to use for Holiday project.
