Card Ideas For Her

Hello crafty friends… Hope you all are well! Today I have couple more card ideas for her that you can make and send out to your friends to cheer them up and to lift them up.

October is Cancer Awareness Month. Joy Clair released a new stamp set, Hope. This stamp set is dedicated for those who are fighting the cancer. I love this stamp set. The sentiments are very uplifting and encouraging, especially the Bible Verses. The ribbon and gloves are just perfect!

I used the Broken Brick Background Stamp for the background.

My second card is created using one of the newest stamp set also called Mermaid At Heart. I paired it up with the Mermaid Tail Background Stamp.

I used Leisure Arts Double Ended Markers and water with smooshing technique to create the watercolored, ocean background. I scribbled the markers on a craft mat and sprayed some water that turn the marker color into watercolor paint. I added the watercolor paper in it and smooshed around. I dried it with craft heater and then did it the same step to build up the colors.

For stamping on both cards, I used VersaFine Clair ink pads and Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink Pad.

I hope you visit Joy Clair Blog to read full detail how I created these cards.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a fabulous day!

World Card Making Day 2019 | All About Cards

Hello crafty friends… Happy World Card Making Day! This is a special day for all of us who love making cards. And let’s get crafty and join the party at Joy Clair!

Celebrating this fun card making day, Joy Clair hosts 3 Challenges! You are invited to join each challenge. Visit Joy Clair blog post to read the full details how you can join the party!

For this Challenge #2, you can link ALL the CARD projects that you create using your favorite stamp sets from Joy Clair Stamps. Show us different ways to use our stamps or just stretch it on your creation. Here’s my card for this challenge #2 with this Fall themed card:

I am using one of my favorite Joy Clair stamps, Tea Time Stamp Set. I stamped the images on watercolor paper with VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad with MISTI, and then I colored them with Leisure Arts Double Ended Markers and water brush.

I dried the watercolored images with craft heater and then I fussy cut them with micro-tip scissors.

On the background, I use the Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheet – Endless Leaves and Gina K Design Fancy Foil – Dazzling Orange.

I simply added the foil on top of the pre-printed clear toner sheet and run it through my laminating machine. After that, I trimmed, and then I added on the kraft card with dries-clear adhesive glue.

I added the watercolored images on top of the card with 3D foam tape.

This is a fun way creating a Clear-and-Simple card, yet still have colors and dimensions.

I hope this card inspires you to make a card today to celebrating this Card Making Day. I cannot wait to see what you will make and share with us at today’s challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a fabulous day!

National Coffee Day | Rollin’ By To Say Hi

Hello everyone… and Happy National Coffee Day to you all, coffee loving friends! Today, we are celebrating it with a fun National Coffee Day Blog Hop with Coffee Loving Cardmakers!

This blog hop starts at Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog, where you can find the full details about this blog hop, sponsors and their amazing prizes info.

Kicking off this blog hop… Trinity Stamps releases this new, Frappy Campers Perking Spot stamp set and its coordinating die set. At Trinity Stamps Blog, you will find more inspirations with these new stamps and dies.

I created a clean-and-simple card with this stamp set:

I stamped the trailer image on a white cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black and then I used the Blending Buddy – Brown Bristle Blending Brush to add the color on the trailer with CP inks. I used post-it as masking paper.

After that, I stamped the coffee bean image and the “Espress Go” sentiment on the trailer. I fussy cut it with scissors. You don’t have to fussy cut like me becuase they have this matching for this stamp set!

I stamped the rest of the adorable images on another white cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black and I colored them with Leisure Arts Double Ended Markers. After that, I cut each of the them with scissors.

I added them on a white card with dries-clear adhesive glue and some with 3D foam tape for extra dimension.
