Birthday Wishes Card and Challenge

Hello everyone… Today is a special day for our family. Our first daughter turns 10 years old! And to celebrate it, I have a new birthday wishes card to share with you all.

I am inspired by the cake, polkadots, and colors from this STAMPlorations March CUTplortions Challenge photo:

This birthday card I created using the  Sweet Cravings StampsBirthday Wishes Phrase DieCrazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting DiesBubble Dance ARTplorations Stencil.

On the background, I use the stencil and make up sponge to add the black acrylic paint on a piece of watercolor paper. I cut it with the stitch rectangle die and added on a white card.

I stamped the image with VersaFine Clair Onyx Black and color it with Arteza Real Brush Pens and waterbrush. I fussy cut it with micro tip scissors and added on the card with 3D foam tape.

For the sentiment, I cut a gold cardstock with the phrase die and added it on the card using the permanent adhesive glue.

I hope you will join us this month! Don’t forget to also link your project up at the Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge when you use any STAMPlorations products on your projects.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Sweet Spring Wishes | Mixed Media Card & Challenge

March is here… Spring is getting closer… that means warmer days and colorful flowers are coming soon, too.

Today, inspired by Spring, I have this sweet spring wishes mixed media card to share with you all.

On my card today, I use the Dream Flower ARTplorations StencilSweet Spring Wishes Stamp SetDragonfly Layering DiesCrazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies, all from STAMPlorations.

I created the background, I added thin layer of white gesso on a watercolor cardstock using mini rubber spatula. I dried it with craft heater, and then I scribble the Gelatos on it randomly. I used pastel colors.

I blended the Gelatos with finger and some water. I dried it again with craft heater. I cut it with the largest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. I added on a white card with permanent adhesive.

I added the yellow acrylic paint using the Dream Flower ARTplorations Stencil and make up sponge. I dried it again with craft heater.

I stamped the sentiment from the Spring Wishes Stamp Set using VersaFine Clair Nocturne and Mini MISTI. I dried it again with craft heater because pigment ink dries slowly.

I cut out a green cardstok and a vellum paper using the Dragonfly Layering Dies. I stacked them together using dries clear adhesive. And then I added it on the card with the same glue.

That’s my card for the new STAMPlorations March Mixed Media Challenge.

You can link up anything mixed media projects, including cards and tags, as long as you use any stencils on your project. And… you can also link up at STAMPlorations Never Ending Anything Goes Challenge when you use any STAMPlorations products on your projects.

I hope this give you an inspiration to create and link up with us. Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day.

Spring Inspired Cards

Hello everyone… Today is the last day of February and that means Spring is on its way. I am so looking forward to see more colors, flowers, and warmer weather for sure!!!

Today, I would like to share these couple of Spring inspired cards that I created using Joy Clair new release stamp sets.

On my first Spring inspired card, I used the Easter Greetings Stamp Set. This stamp set is super adorable and beautiful with those two bunnies and sets of Lily flowers. I use stamping, no-line watercoloring technique, and blending colors with masks and blending brushes on this card.

On this second Spring inspired card, I used the new Martha’s Flowers Stamp Set and Wood Background Stamp. I use stamping and watercoloring with Arteza Real Brush Pens on this card. I like the flowers from this new stamp set for sure!

I am sharing full post and details how I created these two Spring Inspired Cards at Joy Clair Blog today.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you all have a fabulous day!

Coffee and Love Shaker Card

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!! I hope you all feel the love on this special day.

Here’s a special card for you all today… I made this coffee and love shaker card using the new Coffee or Cocoa Digital Stamp Set and the new Heart Card SVG Cut Files from Graciellie Design.

I cut out one of the Heart Cards using my Silhouette Cameo and created a shaker background. I added couple piece of acetate plastic using double sided tape, and then I added some foam tapes around the hearts cut out and added some fine and jumbo glitter on the window, and added it on an A2 white card base using Art Glitter Dries Clear permanent adhesive glue.

I used the print-and-cut feature from Silhouette Software for the image and sentiment. I printed the mug and sentiment on mixed media paper and then cut them with my Silhouette Cameo. This is my most favorite way of working with digital stamps!

I colored the mug with Sakura Koi Watercolor. Then I added it on the card with Art Glitter Dries Clear adhesive glue.

I added some white acrylic paint splatter on the card with fan brush. I dried the background lightly with craft heater, but cannot be too hot becuase it can wrap the card and melt the recycled plastic and glitters.

I added the sentiment on the card with thin 3D foam tape and embellished the card with some red sequins, too.

I think this card speaks lots of love…. I hope you like it, too!
