Today card is a heat-embossed resist watercolor card. I found this tutorial how to create these simple watercolor ornaments using several mediums. But today, I use Sakura Koi watercolor paint.
The sentiment I used on my card is a Bible Verse from Luke 2:11 that I found at Hobby Lobby from Stampabilities. This Bible verse is an announcement about the birth of the King of kings and Lord of Lords, the Savior we have been waiting for so long, Jesus Christ.
I want the sentiment is heat-embossed resisten in the middle of them so, first I heat-embossed the verse stamp on a piece of Canson Watercolor paper and then I started painting small circles using Sakura Koi Watercolor pocket field travel set. This set has 24 bright beautiful colors.
I dryed them using my Craft Heater for speedy drying. Then I drew the outline, string and bow of those ornaments using Faber Castell PITT Artist Pen. And I thought they are ornaments and they do need some sparkle and shine, right? So I grabbed my Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush, brushed the glitter all over the ornaments and they are done.
Next step is I cut a piece of old hymal music paper, added on kraft card base and sponged on it some Vintage Photo Distress Ink using Sponge Dauber. Then I added the painted pannel on the card and finished it with some Start assortment wood chip from Freckled Fawn.

Leaving you with God’s Word in 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 which says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:” Have an awesome New Year!
