Hello everyone… Welcome to Joy Clair Mardi Gras Event 2018! Lent Season is tomorrow! It starts on the same day with Valentine’s Day this year. I hope you all, who are going to do Lent, will be blessed with wisdom and strength. May God bless you richly with His love and grace as you come to seek Him in His presence every day!

Today I am joining the Joy Clair team for this special event to share project inspired by the Mardi Gras image, celebration, colors, shapes, or anything…The team has prepared lots of inspirations for you!

You can see all the inspirations at Joy Clair Blog. When I looked at the Mardi Gras photo inspiration I am inspired by the colors and I created this New Baby Congrats Card using the New Baby Stamp Set.

I go with clean-and-simple style for this card. The papers I used are from Crate Paper Little Baby Boy 6×6 Paper Pad and plain colored cardstocks are from Darice Crafts.

I picked the green/purple polkadots paper for the background mat that I added it on the black card base with adhesive glue. Next, I die cut the yellow cardstock with Oval Stitched Rows Dies from Our Daily Bread Designs. Then I added it on the card with adhesive glue.

And using Versafine Onyx Black and Mini MISTI, I stamped the baby onesies from New Baby Stamp Set with  on the yellow chevron patterned paper, I stamped the heart image on the purple cardstock, and then I stamped the sentiment on a white cardstock.

And then I fussy cut the heart and onesie with micro-tip scissors. Then I added them on the card with 3D foam tape. I added some extra glitter on the heart with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush Pen.

I trimmed the sentiment into a banner, and added it on top of the onesies. Since it already pop up, I glue the middle on the onesie, and then glued the edges of the banner on the oval die cut panel.
