Clean-and-Simple and One-Layer have been my styles since the beginning I started making cards. Today, I am getting our of my comfort zone and working layers. Yes, layers of papers. And I found out that I enjoyed the process of making this card.
The paper packet I used today is Magical Paper Packet. I love the color combo from this packet. I created the blue watercolored washed background with Sapphire and Crystal Clear Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads. I added some inks on my glass mat (you can also use acetate plastic or All Purpose Mat), then I sprayed with some water then added the Watercolor Paper. To create the texture or shades of colors, I dried between adding colors using my Craft Heater.
I stamped the sentiment from Beyond Awesome stamp set (like its name… it is an awesome set!!!) with Cranberry and Honey Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads. Using Non-Stick Micro-Tip Scissors, I cut the arrow and using Fiskar Paper Trimmer I cut rectangle sentiment.
First, I put together the patterned papers with adhesive runner, then I stitched them using the Stitching Guide and needle. Then I added the sentiments with 3D foam adhesive.
My card is done… I love working with layers now 🙂
This month I am joining a monthly blog hop, the Joyful Stars.

Just in case you get lost, you can always check the list of participants at Joyce’s blog, where this blog hops starts.
