My First Zipper Flower

I got some zippers from Pick Your Plum last week (with a good deal, of course ^_^). Then thanks to Pinterest form tons of ideas that I got from. I did a little different but the basic steps are standard. So, you can click on the links and see several ways of making this pretty Zipper flower.

Here’s some links to the steps to follow:

Our Tulips

The Princess and The Tulips

Some photos of our Tulips today. They are blooming. I just love them all. So thankful for my husband who planted them at the end of Fall before frosting season started. Since we had warm days earlier that we expected, the Tulips started to bloom early also this year. But they are just so beautiful!

I Am Back!

After being abandoned for 4 months, finally, today I came back to visit my Scapbook & Craft corner.

It took a while for me to clean the dust (lots of dried, dead bugs! Ugh!) and rearranged every thing.

Then, my crafty mood was back! So I thought I wanna make some hair clips for my girl and friends.

So I did 🙂

It’s so good to be back!

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge | Happiness

“Happiness” is described clearly on her face. Her laugh and giggle are always color our days. I love to take a lot of pictures of her faces.

This picture I took when we took her to the Greenbo Lake Playground in Kentucky, on March 25th, 2012. It was a a nice warm Sunday. We went there after our Morning Church service to have lunch with our friend from China at their restaurant and then took a good walk around the park after that.

She just love the nature, out door walking and of course the PLAYGROUND!

Her favorite thing at that park was this swing. She kept on telling my husband to go faster and higher and higher. It made me nervous and scare but she is one dare devil girl, I tell ya!

We always wanna spend time outdoor when the whether is good enough for us to be outside, walking in the woods/State Park is one of our favorite things to do in the Spring through Fall.

A Way To Save Money

Saving money is important, but many people have failed in this area. I’ve failed too. I tried to do some things, but still haven’t seen something change yet. But it’s not impossible to start with a small step, to make a big change in the future.

Then I realized that every day I had to delete lots of emails from retailers and stores discounts here and there. Those emails are things that I do not NEED at all. Those are the “just in case I want it” emails. The more I read it, the more I want it. That is temptation of spending more money on something that we do not plan to. And I have spent too much time readings thise emails and deleted them at the end.

So, here’s what I do to stay away of that temptation: I unsubscribe from all those unnecessary and unimportant emails. And I feel free from temptation of buying things that I do not need.

That’s is just one of the ways of saving money and build up your saving for the future and emergency needs.

So, what would you do? Or what have you done to save money?
