Sweet and Fresh Lemonade

Hello hello hello everyone… I hope you all have a fabulous week so far. And today, I have some sweet and fresh card for a friend to share with you all.

When it comes to Summer, iced lemon tea is so refreshing. I love fresh brewed sweet tea with real lemon slices in it. Inspired by that yummy drink… I created this card with this newly released, Happiness Is Homemade Digital Stamp Set.

I created the watercolored rainbow border background with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I scribbled the colors on the edge of the watercolor paper and then blended the water brush. I dried it with craft heater, trimmed it to fit on an A2 white card. I added it on the card with E-Z Grand Adhesive Runner.

And here’s how I created that glass look mason jar. First, I printed the jar and tag on a white cardstock with inkjet printer in black and white. And then I colored it with Prismacolors Colored Pencils.

Next, I covered all the image with VersaFine Mark Ink Pad and then I added some Ranger Thick Clear Embossing Powder. I heated it up with craft heater. I repeated this step twice for glossy and extra thick look.

I love the result… I looks like glass jar. I decorated it with some natural twine ribbon, secured it with some dries-clear permanent adhesive. Then I added the tag and tied it up.

I added the jar on the card with 3D foam tape.

For the sentiment, it is one of the sentiments from the Hey Friend Digital Stamp Set, also one of the newly released stamp sets.

I printed it on a white cardstock, and then fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors. I added it on top of the card with dries-clear adhesive glue.

That’s my card today…. I hope you all also enjoy it. Thank you for stopping by my blog. Have a fabulous day!

Mixed Media Card | Life Happens, Coffee Helps

Hello hello hello everyone… June has arrived! On this first Sunday one the month, I have a mixed media card to share with you all.

Today’s card is for the STAMPlorations June Mixed Media Challenge. You all are invited to play along and creating anything goes projects using your stash as long you use stencils and mixed media.

I created the background using gel printing technique with Make Marks 2 ARTplorarions Stencil, Gelli Art Printing Plate, Color Theory Acrylic Paints, Dina Wakely White Gesso, and American Crafts Navy Blue Cardstock. After that I cut it with Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies – CUTplorations.

I stamped the cups from the Sketchy Coffee Cups STAMPlorations Stamp Set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad on a watercolor paper and then I colored them with watercolor paint. After that I fussy cut them with scissors.

For the sentiment label, I added some watercolor paint on a piece of watercolor paper with smooshing technique, dried it and then I sanded it for texture and distress look. After that I cut it with one of the Bracket Labels/Tags Nesting Dies – CUTplorations.

And I added one of the Coffee Time STAMPlorations Clear Stickers on that label tag for the sentiment. I added it on the card with permanent adhesive glue.

I added both cups on the card with permanent adhesive glue and 3D foam tape.

Graciellie Design Birthday Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to Graciellie Design Birthday Blog Hop! So… come and join the party!

We are celebrating Gracie’s birthday with a blog hop featuring her new digital stamps, $25 gift card giveaway, and… awesome 40% oFF Sale at Graciellie Desing shop!!!

Here are my cards today featuring the 2 of 6 new digital stamp sets:

On my first card, I use this Embrace The Moments Digital Stamp Set. I love this digital stamp set with cute camera, polaroid frame, and lifting-up sentiments. They are perfect of any occasion and any type of projects.

I use Pixelmator Pro (a photo editor program similar to Photoshop) to create the layout for my card. I used the camera, polaroid frame, and sentiment. I copied the camera out side the frame so I would have extra camera.

Then, I printed the images on a white cardstock in black and white with inkjet printer. After that, I colored them with Prismacolors Pencils. I fussy cut the frame and the extra camera.

I added some of the Purple Glitter Stickles and Clear Glitter Stickles on the camera and then I added it on top of the camera inside the polaroid frame with 3D foam adhesive for extra dimension.

I printed one of the patterned paper from the Rainbow Vibes Digital Paper Pack to use on the background.

I embellished the card with some of the purple glitter gems I had in my stash.

And for my second card, I use this Tulips & Daisies Digital Stamp Set. This digital stamp set is packed with a tulip flower, a daisy flower, and beautiful script sentiments. That tulip reminds me of my Giant Tulips I had in my garden couple years ago.

To create the front card for this second card, I used the same photo editor program and arrange the tulips, overlapping each other. On a letter size layout, I ended up have 4 front cards, each in 4.25″ x 5.5″ dimension.

I printed the image and sentiment with inkjet printer, trimmed into card front size, and then I colored the tulips with Prismacolors Pencils, too.

After the coloring, I cut the panel with Divinity Designs – Double Stitched Rectangles Dies with my Gemini Junior machine. I cut the sentiment with the Divinity Designs – Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies.

I added the outside frame cut out directly on the card with permanent adhesive runner, and then add the middle cut out on the card with 3D foam adhesive for extra dimension.

Then I added the sentiment on the card with permanent adhesive runner. I embellished the card with some sequins from my stash.
