Coffee Can Fix Everything | Alcohol Ink, Stamp and Die

Hello everyone… April is here and it is time for a new challenge…

My card today is inspired by the new March CUTplorations Challenge: the layers, and Spring colors.

I use Coffee Fix Phrase Die and Zen Coffee Background 3 Stamp from STAMPlorations.

I use Alcohol Inks to build up the layers of colors on the background. I use glossy cardstock with this alcohol inks. I also use straw to move around the inks on the paper. After the ink dried about a minute, I added some silver foil transfer sheet on it to give it extra shine.

I stamped the Zen Coffee Background stamp on it with StazOn Jet Black Ink using MISTI. After that, I trimmed it smaller that the yellow card base. I added it on the card with Tombow Xtreme Adhesive.

I cut out 2 white cardstock using the Coffee Fix Phrase Die using my Gemini Junior machine, stacked them together with permanent adhesive glue to create chipboard. I added it in the middle of the card with the same permanent adhesive glue.

That’s all… it is a quick, easy, and fun CAS card to make. I hope you all enjoy it and have a chance to join the March CUTplorations Challenge. And if you use any of STAMPlorations products on your project, you can also link it up at their Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge.

And before you all go… I have 20% Coupon Code for you to use at STAMPlorations store. Use STAMPGIRLHELEN when you check out!

Which one is your style: 3D Card or One Layer Card?

Making cards is one of my favorite thing to make and in my journey of learning, I explore some type of cardmaking style. I like both 3D style or One Layer card. What about you? Which on is your style?

My first project is a 3D acetate tent card that I created using the Spring Stroll Stamp Setand Broken Brick Background Stamp.

I found this YouTube tutorial to follow when I made this card. I love the idea using acetate plastic and give the bigger window on the front of the card.

My second project today is one-layer card. I made these 2 cards using the Going Places Stamp Setand God’s Promises Stamp Set

Although these are one layer cards, I use stamping, masking, watercoloring and embossing with die technique.

Authentically Beautiful | A Card For A Friend

Hello everyone… Spring is officially here on the calendar, we also start seeing some signs of Spring from our yard and garden. I am so looking forward to see more and enjoying the warmer weather.

Today, inspired by the Spring blooms, I have a card that I created for a friend to share with you all.

On my card, I use the Authentic Digital Stamp and one of the Coffee Lovers Digital Papers from Graciellie Design.

I like to use the Print and Cut feature from Silhouette Studio to work with digital stamps.

I opened the flower, leaves and sentiment with the Silhouette Studio software. I resized and printed them on a mixed media paper with inkjet printer in black and white. I printed the stripe digital paper on a white cardstock.

I heat set the printed images with craft heater to make sure the printer ink dried well before adding the watercolor paints. Other option, if you want to color with liquid medium, you can print your images a day before and let it dry over night for better result and no smudges.

On these printed images, I colored them with Arteza Woodless Watercolor Pencils and Water Brush Pen. I added some white paint splatters on them with fan brush and white spray paint. After that, I dried them with craft heater.

I added the printed paper on an A2 White Card with permanent adhesive runner. And then I added the leaves and flower on it with permanent adhesive glue. And I added the sentiment with 3D foam tape for extra dimension. I embellished the card with some silver sequins.

Check out this digital stamp set and all her new March released from Graciellie Designs today… and she also have great bundles for you to grab!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day!
