Graciellie Design New Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello everyone… Today is an exciting day because it is the new release day for Graciellie Design, and I have couple projects to share with you all.

Do you know that Gracie has a new store? You will love the new Graciellie Design Store where she sells all her digital stamps and digital papers. And today, she has 5 new digital stamp sets and 1 new digital papers at the store. These new goodies are so perfect for this coming Valentine’s Day, or any occasions encouraging cards, or Bible journaling, or even for art journal.

My first project is this clean and simple card that I created using the new Love & Friends Digital Stamp Set.

I use the Print-and-Cut feature with Silhouette Studio Software. I printed the heart wreath on mixed media paper with my inkjet printer in black and white. And then, I cut printed images with Silhouette Cameo. I did the same steps with the sentiment.

I dried the printed heart wreath image with craft heater and then I colored it with Sakura Koi Water Colors and water brush. And then, I added some white acrylic paint splatters on it with fan brush. I dried the finished image with craft heater.

I added couple of the Documented Faith washi tapes on a white card. Then, I added the heart wreath and sentiment coupon tag on the card with 3D foam tape. I embellished the card with some pink sequins.

For my second project, it is a large bookmark that I created using the new I Can Do All Things Digital Stamp Set.

It is super easy to make this bookmark. I printed both the image and sentiment on a mixed media paper. After that I trimmed them in 3″ x 7.5″ and then I dried the printing ink with craft heater. I colored them using Sakura Koi Watercolor and water brush and dried them completely with craft heater.

I glued both side with permanent adhesive and I laminated it with laminating plastic. I I trimmed the extra plastic off, punched the whole with WRMK punch. I used embroidery floss for the tinsel.

Mixed Media Card | XOXO, I Love You

Hello everyone… Today, I have a new mixed media card to share with you all.

I created this card for the STAMPlorations January Mixed Media Challenge. This challenge is anything mixed media goes, including cards, as long as you use one or more stencils on it.

I use the Zen Hearts ARTplorations stencil, Shutters ARTplorations stencil to create the background. First, I created a watercolored background with Catherine Pooler Design’s Ink Pad (Baby Girl) and water using smooshing technique. And then I used stamping with stencil technique to add the shutters ghosting print on it.

Next, I mixed Ranger Texture Paste with fine glitter to create the glittery paste and I added it on the panel with Zen Heart stencil. I let it sit to dry. It is okay to use craft heater to dry the paste, but have to be very careful to not over heat it.

After the texture paste dried well, I used the distresser tool to distress the edges of the background panel and I added it on the white card with permanent adhesive glue.

And for the sentiment, I use the You & Me CUTplorations Phrase Die and Pocket Blooms Stamp Set. I stamped the words on a white cardstock with Catherine Pooler’s Design Ink Pad (Rockin’ Red) and trimmed them into small sentiment strips. I added them on the card with permanent adhesive glue and 3D foam tape. Then then I cut out a red cardstock with the phrase die but I only used the word “you” on this card.

I hope you all will join our mixed media challenge this month. The more you link up, more chances you have to win the prizes!!! And… if you use any STAMPloratios products, you can also link your project at the STAMPlorations Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge.

For the December CUTplorations Challenge, I made these 2 cards using the Doodle Christmas Bells Cover Plate Die for the backgrounds and the sentiment is from the Homespun Christmas Stamp Set.

National Hot Cocoa Day

HAPPY NATIONAL HOT COCOA DAY EVERYONE!!! We are celebrating this fun day with a collaboration blog hop.

We’re collaborating with Super Sponsor The Stamps of Life! This blog hop starts at The Stamps of Life blog!

And for this blog hop… I made 2 projects to share with you that I created using the hotchocolate2stamp set and Hot Chocolate Dies.

My first project is a hot cocoa hello card. I cut out the patterned paper with the mug die from the Hot Chocolate Dies. Then, I also cut the foam out of watercolor paper, colored it with Arteza Real Brush Pen and watercolor brush, then I added the glitter on it with glue adhesive.

I added the snowflake patterned paper on the card, and added some metallic silver watercolor paint on it and dried it. Then I cut out the frame with Double Stitched Rectangles Dies and added it on the card with permanent glue on top of the card.

I added the mug and foam on the card with 3D foam tape. I cut out the sentiment strip with Double Stitched Banner Dies, and I stamped the sentiment from the hotchocolate2stamp set with VersaFine Clair Pinecone ink pad.

My second project is the hot cocoa mug tag. I used the same stamp set and die set. I did the stamping, watercoloring, and die cutting the mug and spoon. I stamped the marshmallow on white cardstock and fussy cut them, I put them in a clear bag and tied it up with twine ribbon.
