Sugartree Stamps New Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello everyone… Welcome… I am so grateful to join a2z Scrapbooking as their guest for the Sugartree Stamps new release blog hop. And today I have couple cards that I create with the new their digital stamps.

On both of my cards I use the Farmhouse Digital Stamp Set. This set is packed with adorable farm images for the popular farm style projects. It is now available at a2z Scrapbooking Etsy Store.

My First card, I used the cold sweet tea mason jar image. Isn’t that adorable? This image so totally makes me want some of the cold brew sweet tea with some lemons!!!

I printed the image and sentiment on a heavyweight cardstock using my inkjet printer. I always heat set the printed images with craft heater and then coloring them. On this jar, I used Arteza Woodless Watercolored Pencils and Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Brush. Can you see the glitter all over the jar?

I cut the green cardstock and patterend paper using ODBD Large Banner Dies Set. I added them on an A2 White Card with dries-clear adhesive glue, and then I added the jar and sentiment on it with 3D foam tapes. I finished this card with some gold sequins.

On my second card, I used the cotton branches in bottle image and sentiment blessed. I went with natural colors in this one.

I created the watercolored washe background with Ice Spurce Distress Oxide Ink Pad, water, and white acrylic paint splatters. I cut the watercolored panel with one of the Craftin’ Desert Divas Fancy Frames Dies and I added it on A2 White Card with dries-clear adhesive glue.

I printed the image and sentiment with my inkjet printer. I colored the image with Arteza Woodless Watercolored Pencils and waterbrush. For the sentiment I cut it with one of the ODBD Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies.

I added the sentiment on the card first with adhesive glue, and then the flower bottle with 3D foam tape. I embellished the card with some of the clear dots.

Today I have 2 coffee cards to share with you on this Day 1 Coffee Lover Blog Hop. I created them using Joy Clair – coffee stamp collection. Joy Clair is one of the amazing super sponsors. Visit their blog to see more coffee inspirations from the design team.

When I am thinking Summer, first thing that I came up in my mind is Father’s Day. This day marks the beginning of the Summer. So… my first card is a Father’s Day card for coffee loving dad. We know one in our home!!!

On my first card, I am using 3 new Joy Clair stamp sets that were just released this month. I use the new 6×8 Coffee Talk stamp set. On the background, I use the Broken Brick Backgound stamp, and for the sentiment, I use the new Classic Father’s Day stamp set.

I stamped the background with VersaMark in on a light grey cardstock using my MISTI, then I added some clear embossing powder, and heat set it with craft heater. After that, using sponge applicator, I added some of the VersaMagic Cloud White ink on the paper. I added some splatters on it with Fireworks! London Fog Shimmer Spray and white acrylic paint, too.

I cut a triangle on one of the side of the background pannel, and then using my paper distresser tool, I distressed the edges of the card stock.

I marked the slit gonna be and then I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Clair Pinecone on the white card. I added the background panel on the card with dries-clear adhesive glue.

For the coffee cup, I stamped it with VersaFine Clair Pinecone, sprinkle with clear embossing powder and then heat set it. I did it twice using my MISTI for extra thick embossed image. To color the hearts in the cup, I dab a little bit of the VersaFine Clair Pinecone on the craft mat, sprayed with a little bit of the StazOn All Purpose Stamp Cleaner, picked it up with small round waterbrush. Yes… VersaFine Clair can be used as watercolor paint with the stamp cleaner… how cool is that???

My second, as you can see, it is inspired by Spring colors and butterflies. I use the Coffee To Go Background Stamp, Coffee Quotes Stamp Set, and Butterfly Kisses Stamp Set on this card.

I started with creating the background using Distress Oxide Inks (Worn Lipstick, Brocken China, and Fossilized Amber) using smooshing technique. It is simply dabbing the ink on the craft mat, spray with water, and dab the watercolor paper on it. It is fun technique to watch how these 3 colors mixed together and create the secondary colors, and turn it into rainbow colors.

To get the layers of colors, I dried panel each time I add color. And then when the adding colors is done, I sprayed it one more time with Distress Sprayer bottle, let it sit for couple of seconds, and then I dabbed the water off the panel with paper towel to get more distress look on it. Once again I dried it with craft heater.

When the background all dry well, I treated it with anti-static powder, stamped the Coffee To Go Background stamp with VersaMark ink pad using my MISTI, sprinkle with glitter black embossing powder, and heat set it with craft heater.

I trimmed the background panel smaller to fit on the A2 white card. I added it on the card with dries-clear adhesive glue.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the Coffee Quotes with VersaFine Clair Glamorous using my MISTI. Then I trimmed it into sentiment banner and wrapped some natural twine on the side. I added the sentiment banner on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimensional.

For the butterflies, I stamped them with VersaFine Nocturne Ink and colored them with Leisure Arts Watercolored Pencils. I colored just the top with pink, and the center with light blue, and then using waterbrush, I blended the colors and got the shadow of purple on them. After the colors dried, I fussy cut them with micro-tip scissors and added then on the card with 3D foam tape and glue.

I hope you all enjoy these cards today and I hope you all will be joining us this week and share with us your coffee/tea/cocoa Spring-Summer themed projects at Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog. See you all there!

THANKS A LATTE for stopping by my blog today! Have a wonderful and caffeinated day!!!

Things With Wings and Rainbow

CUTplorations May Challenge

Hello everyone…This whole month of May, we are the 31 Days of Celebrating Spring at STAMPlorations Blog. All the blog hop, linky partyies and challenges have one theme: Things With Wings. And today I have another Things With Wings card (plus some rainbow) to share with you.

On my card, I used For The Birds For The Birds DiesLuggage Tags Nesting Dies from STAMPlorations. For the background, I created a watercolored wash with watercolor paper, Distress Ink Oxide Ink and water using smooshing technique. After that I trimmed it and added it on white card.

Then, on another watercolor paper, I painted the rainbow colors with Koi watercolored paint. I only use 3 primary colors: Red, Yellow, Blue. I blended them to create the secondary colors: Orange, Green, Purple. This is a fun and quick way to create rainbow, and my daugthers LOVE to do this with their own watercolor paints.

I dried the watercolor panel with craft heater and then I cut it using the Luggage Tag die.

After that, I stamped the sentiment from For The Bird stamp set on the tag with Versafine Onyx Black using my MISTI, and I also stamped another sentiment on a white cardstock and trimmed it into sentiment banner.

I die cut the bird using the For The Bird Dies out of black cardstock, and after that I added some white acrylic paint splatters with fan brush. For the branch, I used the negative die cut that I cut out the image from previous project as a stencil. I traced it with Faber-Castell Black PITT Artist Pen. Then, I added the bird on top of it. (go here to see the project)

I added some more white acrylic paint on the tag with fan brush to give some extra texture on the background.

My tag is done. I hope you all get some inspiration today to create a project to share with us at CUTplorations May Challenge. For more inspirations, make sure to head over to the STAMPlorations blog to see the projects from the team.

Before you go, I have a coupon code for you to save 20% of your order at STAMPlorations store. Use this code: STAMPGIRLHELEN when you check out. This code good for all regular and sale-priced stamps, stencils, and dies.

Transform Me Oh Lord Bible Journaling Page

Joy Clair Stamps

Hello everyone… Today I would like to share with you all Transform Me Oh Lord Bible Journaling page from the book of Isaiah 64.

The Isaiah 64 talks about how the people of Israel cried out to the LORD and asked Him for His grace and forgiveness for the sins that they had done before Him. They realized that the LORD was their one and only Father, whom in His hands their lives were formed and that the LORD controlled their lives as He had planned since the beginning of the creation.

This truth is also for us. We can find peace in this truth by knowing that we are in the hands of the God Almighty, that our lives is formed and planned according to His will, and that God our Father is the one who control every single situation in our lives. We can find assurance in Him by trusting Him and surrendering our lives into His hands and let Him does what He has planned to do in and through our lives since the beginning of creation.

I created this Bible journaling page with these new Joy Clair stamp sets: The Potter Stamp Set, Many Names Stamp Set, and Crackle Background Stamp.

When I work with water color or archival inks, I like to prep my Bible Journaling pages with some Clear Gesso.

I stamped the image with Memento DewDrop ink pad and colored them with Leisure Arts Watercolored Pencils. For the background, I stamped it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and sprayed it with some water.

I am sharing a tutorial with pictures at Joy Clair Blog today. I hope you all will enjoy the post there. THANK YOU So much for stopping by my blog today. Have a wonderful blessed day!
