Mixed Media Card | Coffee Can Fix Anything

Hello hello hello coffee loving friends… It’s Thursday and let’s take a little coffee break with me today. My mixed media card today is a quite simple to make with no-stamping technique.

On my coffee card today, I used 3 die sets from STAMPlorations – Coffee Lover Bundle:

  • Zen Coffee 1 cover plate die
  • Tag O’ Coffee Dies
  • Coffee Fix phrase die

I cut out the kraft cardstock with the cover die and added it directly to the card base with permanent adhesive glue.

I had some gelprinted cardstocks in my stash and I grabbed the orange/yellow one and cut it with the tag die from the Tag O’ Coffee die set. After that, I added some more shadowing color on it with Stabilo Woodys watercolor pencils (red and white), and I blended the colors with finger.

For the sentiment, I found in my stash a piece of watercolor paper that already have some spray paints splatters on it. I cut it with the phrase die and I added on the tag with permanent adhesive glue.

I added the wrinkled ribbon bow on the tag and I added the finished tag to the card with permanent adhesive glue.

I hope you will like this card today. Thanks so much for stopping by our blog. Have a fabulous caffeinated day!!!

Stencil Challenge | YOU Mixed Media Tag

Hello everyone! April is here! Cannot you image that? We are almost half way through 2022. I am expecting more sunny, warmer and colorful days ahead… And it is a new month, that also means we have new stencil challenge also.

I made this YOU mixed media tag for the STAMPlorations April Stencil Challenge using:

On base, I applied some white gesso and acrylic paints. I used archival ink pads and blending brush to add the layer of colors with stencils.

I added some shadow around the tag with gelato and spread it with my finger.

I added the clear sticker words on a cardstock and cut it into word pieces. I added on the tag with permanent glue. I added the line around the word bits with Black india ink artist pen.

And then, for final step, I added splatters of white acrylic paint on it with fan brush and bit of water.

That’s my tag today and I hope you can give yourself a permission to make a project that encourage yourself to grow and go out there to inspire others.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a wonderful day!

Bougainvillea Slimline Birthday Card

Hello everyone… It is still February but I am dreaming of Spring already because the colorful flowers warm my heart.

Thinking of flowers, I want to share with you this Bougainvillea Slimline Birthday Card.

I had fun creating this birthday slimline card using digital stamp set from Graciellie Design:

I printed the images and sentiment with Laser Printer and then I added foil on them using Therm O Web Deco Foil Transfer Sheets (Teal, Gold Shattered Glass, Black) using a Lamimating machine.

I colored the flowers with Arteza Real Brush Pens and water brush. The foil resisted the watercolor paint. After that, I dried the pain with craft heater and then fussy cut the flowers with scissors.

I used Wavy Slimline Framelit Dies to create the frame. And for the sentiment I used the label die from Cheers Word Die. Both dies are from Dare 2B Artzy.

I hope this card warms your heart as well… Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have a wonderful day.

Sending Paper Flowers and Happy Thoughts

Hello creative friends… Today, I would like to send you all some paper flowers and happy thoughts through this handmade card. I hope this can warm your hearts…

I made this card using the new Bougainvillea Gallore Mega Digital Stamp Set from Graciellie Design. I printed the Bougainvillea flower on Neenah Solar White cardstock with inkjet printer and then I colored it with Altenew Artist Markers. After that, I fussy cut it with scissors and I added some white paint splatters on it. I dried the paint with craft heater.

I printed the sentiment on a white cardstock and then cut the label using the Dare 2B Artzy – Slim Mini Wavy Layers Dies.

For the background, I printed one of the rustic wood pattern paper from Graciellie Design – Rustic Wood Mega Digital Paper Pack. I trimmed it smaller than the card base and I added on the card with permanent adhesive runner.

For the frame, I used the Gemini Ornate Frame & Corner Foil Stamp ‘N Cut Dies. This was my first time using hot foil. I had some trials and errors but once I figured it out, I had fun. I added the frame on the card with double sided tape.

I added the flower and sentiment label on the card with 3D foam tape and I embellished the card with some clear droplets.
