Hello everyone…Today we are taking a look back at Our Daily Bread Designs December Release. And I have I created a Bible Journaling Page to share with you.

Our Daily Bread Designs White As Snow Bible Journaling Page

On my journaling page today I use the White As Snow Stamp Die/Duo Set, Trees & Deer Dies, Curvy Slopes Dies, Snow Crystal Dies, and the new Christmas Collection 2017 Paper Pad.

Our Daily Bread Designs White As Snow Bible Journaling Page

I created the background with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Crayons that I added on the page directly with finger. They blend great with a bit of water on the finger, but not much. I simply dap my finger on a wet wipes and blend the colors together.

Then I stamped the sentiment with Black PowderPuff Chalking Ink that works the best on this journaling page and it won’t bleed through like other dye inks or archival ink. If you prep the page with clear gesso, other type of inks will work just okay on the page.

I stamped the snowman with Black Archival Ink Pad and colored it with Arteza Real Brush Pens and watercolor brush. Then I die cut it with the matching die.

Our Daily Bread Designs White As Snow Bible Journaling Page

Next I cut couple of the Curvy Slopes out of white cardstock for the hill border on the bottom of the page. Then I added them on the page with Scor-Tape double sided tape. I let the top bit open so I can tuck the other die cut pieces under the hills.

I then cut the trees and deer out of the solid papers form Christmas 2017 Collection Paper Pad. I added them on the page with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive glue. And then I added the snowman, too on the page.

After all pieces are on the page, I added some of the fake snow paste on them with palette knife.

Our Daily Bread Designs White As Snow Bible Journaling Page

I finished the page with some of the snowflakes die cuts that I added them randomly on the page using the Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive glue.

I just love the true and God’s promises written on this passage. He is God, he never fails to fulfill what He has spoken. He takes care of His own people. He forgives those how turn their ways away from their wicked ways. He wash our sins away with the blood of Christ. He makes us new in Him and His image only. What a promise!

“Come now, let’s settle this,”
says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
I will make them as white as snow.
Though they are red like crimson,
I will make them as white as wool.
If you will only obey me,
you will have plenty to eat.
But if you turn away and refuse to listen,
you will be devoured by the sword of your enemies.
I, the Lord, have spoken!”
Isaiah 1:18, New Living Translation

Celebrating National Cocoa day today I created my cocoa shaker card using the Christmas Cocoa stamp set from Joy Clair, one of the Winter Blog Hop Super Sponsors Perfect stamp set to celebrate this special Cocoa Day, don’t you think? 🙂

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set directly on the card with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink Pad.

I create the shaker frame using 2 sizes of Rectangle Dies from Our Daily Bread Designs, also one of the Blog Hop Super Sponsors. I cut out a watercolor paper that I already added some watercolor paints splatters on it. I added the acetate plastic with ScorPal Double Sided Tape.

For the filler, I mixed some of the Christmas shaped sequins from WOW! American Crafts and some clear jumbo glitter that I have in stash.

I added the shaker window frame on the card with some fun foam and double sided tape.

Next, I stamped the 2 cups from Christmas Cocoa stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I heat embossed the snowflakes on them with mixture of white embossing powder and holographic glitter embossing powder. After that I colored the cups with Arteza Real Brush Pens and Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Brush Pen. Don’t you love the sparkle and glitter on them? 🙂

Once they dried, I fussy cut them with micro-tip scissors. And I used craft knife to cut the inside of the cup handles.

For the marshmallow and foam, I added some DecoArt Snow Writer paste on them for extra texture and puffy look. I added the cups on the card, the smaller cup with liquid adhesive and the taller one with fun foam tape.

I stamped the candy canes with Red Rhubbarb Memento DewDrop ink and color it with Arteza Real Brush Pen, fussy cut them, and then tucked them under the cups.

That’s all my card today… I hope you all can enjoy your hot cocoa and making some pretty things today!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a wonderful day!

I used grounded coffee to fill the shaker window. It smells so good for sure! 😀 And for the snowy hill, I added some of the Snow Writer texture paste with palette knife around the snowman and sentiment. This texture paste can be air-dry or you can use craft heater to dry it.

Growing In Unity Day 4: Hot Cocoa Mixed Media One Layer Card

Hello everyone… I am back today as the Growing In Unity Girl. For the next 5 days, I will be sharing with you projects featuring stamps from the Unity Stamp Company. And for this Growing In Unity Day 4, I have a hot cocoa mixed media one layer card to share with you.

And if you have not yet seen the other projects, you can check them out: Unity GIU Day 1, Unity GIU Day 2, and Unity GIU Day 3. Don’t forget to leave comment on each day blog post to have chances to win the giveaway!

Growing In Unity Day 4: Hot Cocoa Mixed Media One Layer Card

I use Unity Kit Of The Month: January 2017 and October 2017 to create these one layer cards today. And the background die is from Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies – CUTplorationsBoth Unity Stamp Company and STAMPlorations are Super Sponsors for the Coffee Lovers Winter 2017 Blog Hop.

First I cut the Arteza Watercolor paper 12″ x  9″ into 4 card background panels. Then, I stamped the hot cocoa cup and sentiment on those panels, with Versafine Onyx Black using Mini MISTI, such a great tool to do multiple stamping!

Growing In Unity Day 4: Hot Cocoa Mixed Media One Layer Card

I colored the edge of the cup with Arteza Real Brush. This brush pens can be use just as is, but also can use them as watercolor brush. One of my favorite coloring medium right now 🙂

Growing In Unity Day 4: Hot Cocoa Mixed Media One Layer Card

You can just use regular watercolor brush to pull the pigment out, but on my card, I used the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush Pen to pull out the pigment. This technique is fun for watercoloring, you’ll get a beautiful sparkly glittery watercolored image 🙂 Check it out:

Growing In Unity Day 4: Hot Cocoa Mixed Media One Layer Card

Then I squeezed some of the Snow Write On – texture paste on my craft mat and using the Pick Me Up tool, I added the snow texture paste on each of those marshmallow for puffy texture on them. This fake snow texture dries pretty quickly.

Growing In Unity Day 4: Hot Cocoa Mixed Media One Layer Card

You can stop here by adding the panels on card bases with strong glue and leave them as they are. And you will have a set of one layer sparkle cards. Or you can continue to the next step how I finished my cards.

Growing In Unity Day 4: Hot Cocoa Mixed Media One Layer Card

I added some watercolor splatters on the background using Blue My Mind Inklingz from Shimmerz Paints with fan watercolor brush.

When the watercolor splatters dried well, I run each panel through my diecutting machine with the largest die from Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies – CUTplorations. This die trim the panels into 4.25″ and 5.5″ front panels. I added them on card bases and tied them up with Blue Twine from Doodle Bugs – Christmas Twine Set.

Growing In Unity Day 3: Mixed Media Shaker Card

Hello everyone… I am back today as the Growing In Unity Girl. For the next 5 days, I will be sharing with you projects featuring stamps from the Unity Stamp Company. And for this Growing In Unity Day 3, I have a mixed media shaker card to share with you.

And if you have not yet seen the other projects, for the Growing in Unity Day 1, you can go here and for this Day 2, you can go here. Don’t forget to leave comment on each day blog post to have chances to win the giveaway!

Growing In Unity Day 3: Mixed Media Shaker Card

On my card today, I used the girl image from Dream of Being stamp set and sentiment is from the Kit Of The Month – October 2016.

First, I created the background with Color Burst – Turquoise Powder. I used smooshing technique for this. I dried the background with craft heater, then I sprayed with some water for extra texture, and  then I added some platters on it with Heidi Swap Color Shine Spray Citron and Pink. I dried it again with craft heater. I die cut the background panel with ODBD Pierced Rectangles Die. I added the panel on the white base card with liquid adhesive.

I created the square frame by cutting the largest ODBD Squares Die 4 times and stacked them together with liquid glue. I added a piece vellum paper on the frame.

I added some Christmas theme washi tape on the background panel. And then added some mix shaker filler on the pannel and then I added the frame on the panel.

{Growing in Unity} Girl Day 3

For the image, I stamped the girl on a white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and I colored it with Arteza Real Brush Pens: 2 shades of green for her sweater, and 2 shades of brown for her hair. I added some sparkle on her with Wink of Stella Glitter Brush pen. And I also added a hair bow on her using the Christmas theme twine from Doodle Bug.

{Growing in Unity} Girl Day 3

For the sentiment, I stamped it on a white cardstock using Peacock Feather Distress Ink that actually close match with the background color 🙂 I cut it into banner strip and added it on top of the shaker frame with liquid adhesive. I found a color burst watercolored paper strip in my mixed media stash box that left over from last project, I cut it out into banner and tucked it under the sentiment banner. And then I added the girl on it with liquid adhesive too.

I finished the card with some teal/turquoise sequins on it. And the mixed media shaker card is done 🙂 I hope these cards today inspire you to create with Unity Stamp Company today!
