Hello everyone… Happy Sunday! I am so thankful to be one of many Unity Girls in 2017. And today I am joining a group of Unity Gals for the Growing In Unity Blog Hop. Welcome and I hope you all enjoy this blog hop and chances to win the giveaway from Unity Stamp Company! For this blog hop today, I created these 3 Monochromatic, Mixed Media, CAS cards using only 1 stamp set and 1 style design.
I use the gorgeous Let Your Dreams Bloom stamp set from Graciellie Design to create these cards. I love those flower blooms and the sentiments are super sweet.
Each card has the same style but I created the background and stamped the flower in 3 different ways. First card, I tried the foiling technique with stamp and embossing.
I stamped the flower with Versamark Ink, added some super fine white embossing powder, heat set it, added the DecoFoil paper on top of the embossed image, and run it through the laminating machine without carrier. It works like MAGIC 😀 Check it out…
I added some watercolor paint splatters on the card panel and stamped the image with Rose Bud Memento Dew Drop Ink and Mini MISTI. I stamped the sentiment 3 times to get the darker shade and bolder. I did the same step for the rest of the cards.
For these second card, I created the background with smooshing technique using Distress Ink pads, water, and acetate plastic.
I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and color it with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush Pen to blend make it look like watercolor and added some glitters at the same time. Check out the detail…
For the last card, I did the same step with the second card to create the background with darker color. Then I sprayed the whole background panel with mixture of Perfect Pearl powder and water for the pearly shiny background.
Then, I stamped the flower with Tombow Dual Brush Pens using Mini MISTI. I left it as is. And I have the flower and stem in different colors. Check out the details below…
I finished all the cards with some pink twine ribbon and pink gems. I added all the panels on white card base with 3D foam tape.
I hope you all enjoy these cards today and are inspired to create… And before you go…don’t forget, leave a comment on each participant’s blogs for chances to win the prize pack from Unity Stamp Company!
