Bible Journaling | What A New Life In Jesus

We are rejoicing and giving praise to God for our youngest daughter to be baptized on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025!

As we were preparing her for the baptism, I was reminded of these verses:

to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

(Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭22‬-‭24‬ ‭ESV‬)‬

Through Christ Jesus, we are given new life, renewed in spirit, mind and created in likeness of God. Our righteousness is in Christ alone. Our new life is controlled by the Holy Spirit. Our mind renewed by the His truth. And our identity is now the children of God.

What a new life we have in Jesus!!!

This month we are showcasing “Through the Seasons” with all our favorite products from Creative Worship Stamps. This week we are featuring the Spring season.

Here’s my Spring theme journaling Bible page, I used some of my favorite stamp sets, die set, and stencil:

  • He Proved His Love Stamp Set
  • Vintage Butterflies & Blooms Stamp Set
  • Texture Tiles 1 Stamp Set
  • Books of the Bible Stamp Set
  • Bold Bloom Stencil
  • Tabs, Tickets & More Die Set

Other supplies:

  • Versa Magic Dew Drop set of 12
  • StazOn Jet Black ink lad
  • Altenew Artist Markers

I taped the stencil directly to the ESV Interleaved Bible journaling page using some of Washi tapes. Then I added some of the inks of Versa Magic Dew Drops using blending brushes.

I stamped the sentiment and more texture images on the page with Vera Magic Dew Drops.

For the butterflies, I stamped them on a piece of vellum paper with StazOn ink pad and then colored the back of the image. After that, I fussy cut it with scissors. I added them to the page using Tombow Vellum tape runner.

I cut out a piece of purple cardstock with one of the tab dies and stamped the date on it. I added to the page with double-sided tape.

My Bible journaling page is done. May the word of God encourage you today.

Mixed Media Vintage Postal Hello Card

Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you this mixed media vintage postal hello card.

I made this card to participate at the Creative Worship Stamps May Release Instagram Hop. We’re showcasing products from this month’s amazing release that includes flowers, butterflies, sentiments, backgrounds, and more.

Today, on my card, I used these stamp sets, die sets, and stencil from Creative Worship Stamps:

  • Bold Bloom Stencil
  • Postage Stamp Cover Plate Die Set
  • Hello & Smile Word Die Set
  • Sketched Roses Stamp Set
  • Vintage Sheet Music Tile Stamp Set
  • Vintage Postage Stamp Set
  • Going Postal Stamp Set

All images for the background were stamped with VersaFine Clair ink pads on heavyweight white cardstock. I used smooshing technique to add distress vintage look to the background panel with some Vintage Photo Distress ink and water. After drying it with a craft heater gun, I cut it with the Postage Stamp Cover Plate Die. I wrapped around some of the burlap twine on the postal background panel and added it to the card base with permanent adhesive glue.

I stamp the flower and leaves images on a piece of watercolor paper and then watercoloring with Distress inks. I fussy cut them with scissors. I added to the card with permanent adhesive glue and thin foam tape for extra dimension to some petals and leaves.

And for the sentiment word, I cut out the word Hello out of a piece of heavyweight cardstock and then I added some metallic glossy look with VersaMark Dazzle Frost and clear embossing powder. I added to the card with foam tape.

I added some splatters on the background with Finetec Gold and Silver Pearless Watercolors using a fan paint brush and added some of the Altenew White Craft Spray using small round brush.

I dried the whole panel again with the craft heat gun just to make sure the splatter paints dry well.

Hop along with us and comment for your chance to win a $25 gift code to Creative Worship Stamps store. The Instagram Hop starts at HERE and follow the steps there. The winner will be announced May 14, 2025, on Creative Worship Stamps IG.

Bible Journaling | Faith Will Guide You

Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see (Hebrew 11:1, NLT). And only when we trust in the LORD completely is when we will let faith guide us.

Abraham, without any questions, answered to God’s call and obeyed and follow His direction. Abraham could trust in the LORD fully because he knew who the LORD was for him. Abraham had the faith that guided him step by step in obedience and submission to the LORD and that took him to the promise land.

Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people that they had acquired in Haran, and they set out to go to the land of Canaan. When they came to the land of Canaan, Abram passed through the land to the place at Shechem, to the oak of Moreh. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him. From there he moved to the hill country on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. And there he built an altar to the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord. And Abram journeyed on, still going toward the Negeb.
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Just like Abraham, I pray to have the faith that will guide me step by step and to trust in the LORD fully. Submitting my life, family, plans, ministry, work and future in His hand. Seeking His guidance to do what needs to be done.

It is not easy to walk faithfully on the path that we cannot see clearly. This is when we need the faith that can guide us. The faith that only have our eyes set on Jesus. The faith that will help us to take one step at a time confidently because of knowing God is trustworthy and He will fulfill his promises.

I journaled this passage of the Bible using these stamps and stencils from Creative Worship Stamps:
