One Layer, Embossed Card: You Are An Original

I have a card to share with you today also. It is an one-layer, embossed card.

This card I created for Ka’s Tic-Tac-Toe challenge which is also part of her design team call. It is a fun challenge 🙂

I choose the 3 elements in the middle down: One Layer, Embossing and Kraft.

I simply stamped the images and sentiment from Blossoming Expression stamp set with Versamark Ink Pad on a kraft card base, added some Ranger White Super Fine Embossing Powder and heat set them using my Craft Heater.

And then using White Rolly Gel pen, I added the dash and dot along the edges of the card.

All done. One layer, Embossed card for a dear friend who serving as a Healthy Consultant going around schools in our county to teach the children to live healthy. She is an awesome friend and an educator.

Be Strong and Be Courage To Fight The Good Fight

There are many ways to encourage our friends and families who need some courage and strenght to go through the battle with cancer. The only one source of strength and courage is from the LORD.

I admire the courage they have to survive! In last October I learned many facts about Cancer and Breast cancer. I met lots of new friends online through craft chat forums and blogs where they shared their own stories or their loved ones’ stories about their process to go through the treatments, but some of them have fough the good fight.

We, as believers in Christ, can find the strength and courage in the LORD through reading His word. We can experience His presence through prayers and the presence of our loved ones in the journey we have to go through. Do not lose hope!

I hope and prayer for you all who are fighting the good fight to survive, that you find your courage and strenght in the LORD who is with you and walking with you to go through the treatments and recover.

I pray the truth in Proverbs 31:25 will always be a reminder for you that truting in Him give you hope about your future.

Poinsettia Card and Tag

Holidays season is not too far away from now… I am still working on cards and tags for friends and families.

Today I would like to share with you a card and a tag that I created using the My Monthly Hero October Kit by Hero Arts. In this kit includes the stamp set, die set, and ink pads. DIY Mini Embroidery Hoop Ornaments

Welcome to Joyful Stars Monthly Blog Hop! I join a group of CTMH Consultans to share project inspirations using Close To My Heart products.

For this month hop, I created these 4 mini embroidery hoop arts. They are perfect as ornaments because the hoop is 4″ mini size. But they also will make cute home decor during the Holidays 🙂

Supplies you need for this projects are:

White Pines Paper Packet
White Pines Complement
Red Enamel Gems
Fern Thick Twine
Sparkle Clear Assortment
Stamp Sets: Christ Is Born, Reason For The Season
Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad: Black, Cranberry
VersaMark™ Ink Pad
Ranger™ Silver Super Fine Embossing Powder
Ranger™ Princess Gold Embossing Powder
Craft Heater
Liquid Glass
Non-Stick Micro-Tip Scissors
3D Foam Tape
My Acrylix Block:1″ x 3 1/2″, 3″ x 3″, 4″ x 5″
4 Mini Embroidery Hoop (I got mine at Walmart)

Making them is easy and fun:

Cut the papers in 4.25″ square.
Glue the hoop on the paper using Liquid Glass.
When it is dry well (only take a minute to dry), cut along the edge of the hoop.
Decorate them with the White Pines Complements, Red Enamel Gems and Sparkle Clear Assortment.
For the Glory To God Hoop, trace the hoop with pencil, then stamp and heat emboss the images. Then glue the hoop and cut the edge.
Add the Fern Thick Twine (I cut 6″ long for each hoop) and tie up to make a hoop to hang it.

I really enjoy making them and they will be a gift for my daughter’s teacher. We had our first Parent-Teacher meeting with her and so thankful to get to know her more. We heard a lot of of amazing stories from our daugther about her teacher. She adores her!

And I will make more when I have a chance to get more mini embroidery hoops using the leftover supplies I have 🙂

I was invited by a crafty friend to the challenge last month and so thankful I was able to join and made these cards for those who are at the Cancer center and for their families, too.
