A Quick Update…

Hello all… I am dropping by today to give you a quick, short update about what’s going on in the last several weeks.

You might notice that I haven’t been on my blog and social media lately. It is becuase I had some health issues and I had to have a major surgery on November 20.

Now, I am in my recovering journey and I am giving thanks to the LORD for His goodness and strength he has given me to go through this. Also, I am so thankful how He has been taking care of my husband and daughters, and giving them the comfort and hope.

I am thankful for my amazing, supportive families and friends (that including ALL OF YOU, my dear blog readers!) Than you so much for your prayers, thoughts, encouraging texts, messages, and cards. I thank GOD for all of you!

God is good in time of uncertain and in time of waiting for prayer answered. He gave me hope and faith to keep on and trusted in Him and his care. Last week, I got my biopsy results and there were no cancer! This news gave a big relief to all of us.

Through this, I learned more of who God is. I always believe that He reveals who he is through every circumstance and situation we are in becuase He wants us to know Him more and to love Him more. All becuase He loves us first with His unconditional love. And HE IS CARE AND LOVE YOU, too!!! Open your heart and trust in Him, He will guide you step by step. If you ever need someone to talk, I am here. Send me an email or send me a message through my social media at any time!

Dear family and friends, from the bottom of my heart… Thank you for walking with me through this situation. All praises and glory to God only!

May God all bless you!

AND FAMILY

Stencil Challenge | Christmas Cheer

December is here!!! I hope the joy of the holly jolly Holidays start filling your hearts and homes.

STAMPlorations has new challenges at their blog starts on every 1st of the month. One of the challenges is the Stencil Challenge. You are invited to create and link up your Anything Goes project as long as you use any stencils on your project. Head over to their blog to see more inspirations from the team today.

I made a mixed media, CAS Christmas card for this challenge. On my card I used the Make Marks 5 ARTplorations Stencil, Christmas Reindeer ARTplorations Stencil, and Yuletide Deer Stamp Set.

I use my gelli plate and acrylic paints (white and read) to create that patterened background. After the acrylic paint dried, I added the raindeer stencil on top of the panel, secured it tapes and I added the gold metallic glitter texture paste on it. I removed it right away and run the stencil under a warm water to clean it.

After the texture paste dried, I trimmed it slightly smaller than the A2 card and I added that background mat on a red card with E-Z Runner Gran.

I stamped the sentiment phrase on a white cardstock with Tulip Red VersaFine Clair ink pad and Mini MISTI. I stamped it twice to get darker red color. I trimmed the sentiment into a banner and I added on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension.

I hope this card give you an idea to create and play along with the December Stencil Challenge. When you create your project using any STAMPlorations stencils, stamps, and/or dies, you can also link it up at the Never Ending Anything Goes Challenge.

Throwback Thursday | Christmas Cards with Typografia Stamps and Stencils

Hello everyone… First of all… Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who are celebrating in USA. I hope you all have a fabulous and wonderful time with your family.

Join me today at STAMPlorations Blog for another Throwback Thursday feature post. I am back with couple of Christmas themed cards.

The colors and background of this Christmas tag inspired me to create these three Christmas cards today. I created this tag back in November 2018 and for more detail about it, you can find it on this blog post.

For this background, I used the Holly Background ARTplorations Stencil, Gelatos, and baby wipes. The sentiment is Blessed Christmas – Typografia Christmas Stamp. For the tag I used the Stitch Tag Nesting Dies and  Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

I created the backgrounds for two of the cards using the Holly Background ARTplorations Stencil, Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink, Fired Brick Distress Oxide Ink, Blending Brush, and water.

First, it is a simple blending the distress ink on the white cardstock using the stencil and small oval blending brush. After adding the colors, I removed the stencil and sprayed the cardstock lightly with water and dabbed it off with paper towel for distressed look.

On the other one, I used the stamping with stencil technique. After removing the stencil from the cardstock, I sprayed the stencil lightly with some water, flipped it over on top of a piece of watercolor paper. I dabbed of the extra water off with paper towel and then I dried it completely with craft heater.

I used the first stenciled background on this card. I cut the cardstock with the largest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies, and I added it on top of the white card base with Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment on another white cardstock with Golden Glitz Delicata ink using Mini MISTI. I dried the ink with craft heater and then I cut it with the smallest size of the nesting dies. I added it on top of the card with 3D foam tape.

I cut the watercolored background base with the largest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies and then I added on the white card base with Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive.

On this second card, I use the Joyful Christmas – Typografia Christmas Stamp. I stamped it on a white cardstock with the Golden Glitz Delicata Ink Pad, dried it, and trimmed it with paper trimmer. I added it on top of the card with 3D foam tape.

My third card, the design is the same with the other two cards. I used the Holly Background ARTplorations Stencil for the background. I added some Unicorn White Pigment Ink on a piece of red cardstock with blending brush.

After that, I dried the ink with craft heater and cut it with the largest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. I added it on a red card base with Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive.

For the sentiment, I used stamping with stencil technique using the Christmas Trees ARTplorations Stencil and white spray ink. I did it on a piece of this green watercolored background paper left over from previous project. I dried it completely with craft heater.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, Angels On High – Typografia Christmas Stamp, with Unicorn White Pigment Ink and Golden Glitz Delicata Ink using Mini MISTI becuase I restamped it several times to get the crisp result.

I dried the ink with craft heater and then I cut it with the smalles size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

Gelli Printing Technique On Cardstock and Pallet Wood

Hello everyone… The Thanksgiving Day in United States is about 3 days away and I have couple projects to share with you that you can make in the last minutes.

On both projects, I use the basic gelli printing technique on pallet wood and cardstock. My first project is this CAS card set, I use the 6″ Fall Leaves Stencil, 6×6 Gelli Printing Plate, and multi-surface acrylic paints on white cardstocks.

The second project is this Pumpkin Pallet Wood Sign. I created that background on the Pumpkin Medium DIY Pallet Shaped Wood using the 6″ Fall Leaves Stencil, 6×6 Gelli Printing Plate, and multi-surface acrylic paints.

I am sharing full details about this Gelli Printing Technique on both cardstock and Pallet Wood at Clear Scraps Blog today. And I hope you all get some more Thanksgiving ideas and check out Clear Scraps store for the wood pallets, wood words, and stencils.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today. We hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving weekend with your loved ones and family!
